The food and service here were excellent, although it is a bit pricey. We spent £137 for four people, which included two courses and just jasmine tea and water to drink. I can see why there are so many staff members.

Usually the food and service is good. Today for a change my family opted for take away lunch. We were disappointed. We shall avoid takeaway particularly early lunch but will try again as we always felt Chef Peking are a good Chinese Restaurant. I experienced great service and an intriguing menu at this restaurant. While it may not be the best Chinese food I've ever had, it's definitely in the top 25%. Comparing it to a Michelin-rated restaurant that closed years ago might be a bit of a stretch. The prices are on the higher side, but considering the challenges brought on by the pandemic, I'm genuinely happy to support a place that is doing good work. Just a heads up: some dishes, like the whole fish or lobster, require 24 hours' notice. Voir le carte
