"the chaser is a popular pub to which we always come. it is in a beautiful location, it is a cozy old place with different rooms, real fires at cold days etc. after said that, customers have high expectations, so the owners have much to live up to. I was just there, instead of because the prices on my brother bauch schwein looked beautiful, but on a teller it is really expensive and eating is very good, but one or two things could be better, as the chips were dry and some of the salat leaves were no longer fresh. the steak and ale pee was wonderful. the fish in the dough was crispy and beautiful. some things on the menu are ambitious, like some of the appetizers, and while the ingredients are fresh, they do not always come out. I think the chaser needs only the chef chef to pay a visit and check all foods, and make sure that the kitchen staff understand exactly how to prepare them. then it will be staring."

The restaurant was wonderful, the breakfast was decent, but the lighting was a little dim this time.

Wonderful food. Has an enormous shoulder of lamb. We asked to sit in the 'dining room' area, which was lovely and I would recommend. Enjoy!

This charming pub has a wonderful outdoor garden where you can enjoy a meal when the weather is nice. We decided to have lunch and ordered the ham, eggs, and chips. It may not be fancy, but it was exactly what we were looking for! Voir le carte

The staff were pleasant. The atmosphere was of quiet aloofness. Lots of people returning from brisk morning walks, lots of ladies wot lunch types. The decor is a mixed mess of old and new The food, however was mediocre at best. Hache Steak transpired to be meatloaf. Mine was barely cooked. Salad consists of mixed rocket type of lettuce which is difficult to eat and bland at best. The puddings ordered, were not forthcoming and so we left Disappointing. This was my visit. My last too.

My late husband and I have been going to The Chaser for many years including on our wedding anniversaries. Today I went with an old friend for a long overdue catch up. The food was delicious and plentiful! The waitress must have guessed that we had not seen each other for a while and kept her asking if we were alright, how was the food etc. to a minimum which was very much appreciated and in my opinion excellent service. The Chaser never fails to disappoint and weâll worth traveling to eat/drink there.
