"Four of us went in for breakfast today. It was the first and will be the last time I visit. We all had different breakfasts I had toast bacon and poached egg. My friend had eggs bacon potato bread sausage and mushrooms. A cup of tea and a coffee to boot. The staff were excellent but the food poor the eggs hard and the bacon had no taste. My friend said it's possibly the worst breakfast she has had. The boys felt the same and they have been before It came to £20 for two if us which I find hard to understand as it said on the menu £5-50 for mine so I can't understand the totting up at the counter pricing. Very disappointed not good value for money and the food just less than mediocre ."

Ordered The 3 Egg Omelette , With Bacon ,Mushroom Ham, It Was Tiny, For £8:50 It Should Have Been 3 Times Its Size, it Looked Like 2 Fried Eggs Slapped Together ,Dreadful..

Went for breakfast, menu was just enough! Portions were huge! Staff were amazing with my 7 year old, took time to take his order and made sure he got what he wanted! Great wee spot!

Not a great experience. Pretty sure I was overcharged as it certainly wasn’t value for money. The cake was stale, ice cream just ok and service slow/disorganised. My first and last visit. Disappointing. Voir le carte

Another fantastic breakfast. Staff were welcoming, surroundings comfortable and food excellent. My mother and I had a delicious breakfast with tea, everything was cooked as requested. Hot fresh tasty. Our must do when in Ards.

Superb lunch here on Monday 23 December. Despite being the cafe crowded the food was freshly cooked and served with a smile. We finished the meal with a coffee each, shared a tasty traybake and never felt like we were being rushed. Voir le carte

No complaint about the food, my only gripe is they advertise the 'eat in half price ' . Was in yesterday afternoon and charged full price unfortunately I hadn 't the nerve to complain on front of other customers. Don 't advertise that you have signed up to the Government scheme when you haven 't or was I done.!!

Waited 40 minutes for 2 small fries. When they eventually arrived the soda and potato bread was as hard as brick. I couldn't actually cut it with my knife. Sausage rock hard too. Other people in the cafe were also complaining about the long waiting times for food. We did receive an apology but no offer of recompense or anything complimentary for our trouble. There are much better cafes in the town.

"We have eaten in Grace Neill many times the food has always been very good and we enjoy the live music. Tonight we booked a table for 4 in the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed lovely starters and main courses. The problem arose when we realised that the table was flooded with water, my husband’s trousers were soaking and my dress could have been rung out. We drew this to the attention of the waitress who went and got the manageress. We suggested that the ice bucket was leaking. The manageress said this was unlikely, held it up in the air and then admitted that it was in deed leaking. She offered me some ‘blue towels’ to dry my dress off and when I declined she offered to take me ‘into the disabled toilet’, which I found rather bizarre and also declined. When the bill came £191) no gesture had been made to compensate for soaking our attire. I took the bill to the girls at the till and asked them to have another look at it, in light of our soaking clothes. The manageress returned to the table, with a new bill, having deducted an amount by way of compensation, for which we were grateful, but then she proceeded to comment that I had been rude to staff. Ironically, we found this comment rather rude in itself and also totally unnecessary. Having admitted that our dining experience was not perhaps 100%, it was rather counter productive to then claim we had been rude. It also further exacerbated our dissatisfaction. A disappointing end to what should have been another lovely meal in our local pub. Perhaps some management training in customer service would be useful."
