Caffe Cavour - Menu

Lovely evening at Caffe Cavour. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, set in a cave. Service was excellent and very friendly. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. My mum had the tuna steak and voted it the best meal of our entire trip to Puglia. 10/10

This restaurant is both beautiful and excellent. It doens't look like much from the street, but as you go inside you enter a lovely beautifully decorated room in a grotto. The food was excellent. I particularly loved my orecchiette with tiny mussels that was seasoned perfectly. There are lots of restaurants in Ostuni but this one stands out for quality and ambience.

very nice location right in the center of ostuni. covid norms strictly respected both by the staff and the adventurous one. rich menu and owner. very kind, it is available for suggestions and directions. I took an appetizer base of eggplants and an act of ears with yellow cherry tomatoes. good quality, on average local restaurants for my goto, too delicate flavors, especially those of the honest price

A really lovely husband and wife run restaurant set into a stone basement. Food is certainly based on excellent sized portions with a platfull of meat or fish carpaccio served for starters all exceptional (Beef, tuna and salmon all sampled) For mains seared tuna, fillet of beef, ravioli, sausages and fresh fish were perfectly served. Deserts was rounded off with a couple of specialls, including a tiramisu. Absurdly would return.......

Fabrizio, the owner and his wife have created a relaxed atmosphere where the guest feels comfortable. As a long time vegetarian I can rarely be surprised, but here they have! So we returned the next day. Particularly recommended: a chicory soufflé with a Burratina cream and an on-site Parmesan mousse infusion; Artichokes cooked at low temperature cut thin and served with strips of parmesan and truffle; panciotti with Scamorza, eggplants and dried tomatoes. Everything creative, delicious and very well prepared.

Cafe Cavour is a wonderful dining experience. I have been living in Ostuni for the past year and this is my go to restaurant. The food is delicious and lovingly prepared to order. Over the last year I have tried almost everything on the menu and am never disappointed. It is small, intimate and in a unique setting and the owners Fabrizio and Donatella are wonderful hosts. Fabrizio offers a wonderful selection of Puglian wines and his recommendations are always spot on. Donatella will come out of the kitchen to greet you and tempt you with the specials of the day. Locals here all know about this gem of a restaurant-don 't miss it

This is a dining experience. An unhurried dinner with wonderful wines and amazing foods. The chef is Donatella, she knows how to cook. We have been here many times, we have tried many of the appetizers and all are wonderful and memorable. Sometimes when we go they have specials and the last time we had a fish special that was so delicious. Everything cooked to perfection. I ordered the last time we were there a gnocchi that prepared with vongole (clams) and pesto crema. I am still talking about it.
