"Yesterday 2/7/21 visited this cafe after looking on trip advisor for the best places to eat in mablethorpe. After looking at the extensive menu my wife and I settled for lasagna and tea for 2, the lasagna came with chips salad and coleslaw, it was...fresh and pipping hot, the portion size was large it was lovely. We sat outside under the covered area, before we sat the table and chairs were cleaned and we felt very safe all covid measures were in place. We will definitely be going back the owner was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. What a refreshing change in this day and age. If you are in Mablethorpe you should visit you will not be disappointed, I would give more than 5 stars if I could."

The food is amazing and is so cheap. I left a tip and the waitress came running out to say I had paid too much. What honest and friendly staff also.

We are a group of 2 familys, stayed at the golden sands haven and popped into mablethorpe for breakfast both mornings. The second day we found this cafe; the breakfast was 2£ cheaper each person than the previous day. The whopper breakfast tasted amazing. Normally...I dont put reviews but i would rate this 10/10. A must visit nothing to much effort from the friendly staff !

Sat outside, waitress acknowledged us and went inside. 20 mins later still hadn't taken our order so went inside. Was then asked to sit down and someone would be out. Nobody came. Other groups came in to the cafe and orders were taken, other tables...food orders brought out and still ignored by the waitress. Waited a total of 40 mins and didn't get served. Won't be using them ever. Shame as other people's food looked good.

We were visiting family for the day so there were 6 adults in total. There is an extensive menu but we chose fish and chips, scampi and chips and nuggets and chips these were served with salad /peas. Then we had panini and salad and...a full English breakfast. All the meals were plentiful and clean plates were sent back! The lady was very nice who took the orders and even accommodating the 3 dogs we had with us! It was a hot day so we sat outside, but details were taken for test and trace and it was covid secure. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter recommended this cafe to us as she couldn’t speak highly enough of it. My wife and I recently stayed at the Haven caravan site so we popped in for breakfast. The food was excellent and it was nice to get a decent cup...of tea, no cheap tea bags here. Later in the week my daughter and family visited us so we all went for dinner the staff were brilliant without us asking they put tables together so we could all eat together. The food again was fantastic with big servings and at a incredibly reasonable price. Good food, reasonable priced great staff what more could you ask for.

"I've been in Horncastle on business twice once on a Monday, once on a Tuesday and both times found the town mostly closed for business in the evenings. This time, just as I was on the point of deciding people in Lincolnshire must have a tradition of fasting on a Tuesday evening, I came across The Bull. This attractive old coaching hotel looked inviting, and the staff offered me a friendly welcome. The warmly lit, high ceilinged interior of this Georgian inn was full of diners (Yes on a Tuesday! Take note, other restauranteurs of Horncastle) and the ambiance was convivial. The selection of beers behind the bar was good and the two pints I drank were tasty and well kept. I was presented with two bar menus, a separate burger menu and shown a fish menu and a steak menu on the wall. (I understand tapas is also available at weekends). Quite a choice! The bar menus largely consisted of what you might call traditional pub grub of the best kind. Within that massive choice, there must have been at least half a dozen dishes I was really tempted by but, eventually, I plumped for the cauliflower soup followed by the pork belly, mash, peas and apple gravy. Both courses were outstanding and extremely generous in size, especially the pork belly. My only disappointment was that I hadn't room in my distended belly to squeeze in a spotted dick for pudding! My bill, for such a large and excellent meal, was very modest. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at The Bull and would definitely eat and/or drink there again."
