The Sunday lunch at this restaurant was delightful, with a homecooked feel. The presentation and service were top-notch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone of any age and I will be coming back for more.

Very unique restaurant. Stumbled across it accidentally whilst visiting the garden centre. Extremely busy and the very helpful waitress sorted us out a table within 10 minutes, despite being full. Will be returning and recommending!

fab eat well worth every penny good fresh. staff helpful and very friendly and fast, all seem really happy. the restaurant is in most garden restaurants and dog and child-friendly furnishings would and have recommended many. keep the great work.

We have visited on many occasions, but today was a special one we Spoke to Cody via email and true to her word she made everything happen for us the service was impeccable and the food all I can say is wow (it is always to a high standard, that of what you would expect from a high class restaurant). came for the afternoon tee and it was not disappointed. it was all nice, the personal was brilliant and accommodating with our little extra requests that require extra space because the sleeping baby, the demand for a mimose instead of prosecco, with honey for the tee. they were all beautiful and friendly. and I would commit a mord for another of these chocolate brewery. can not wait to come back

service was very friendly, immediately sitting and had clean high chair for our baby. would have been 5 stars, but there were little mistakes like forgetting us a children's menu (we used the website instead), serve and place the tablet with hot drinks inside the poor lenght of the baby and forget a spoon with suppe. only minor errors and will not stop us from coming back. the food was very tasty and a good price.

Having been regular visitors to the Crown pub we finally decided to try the restaurant. The small, intimate eating area is fine and the menu is varied and more than adequate for all customers. The presentation of all the courses was exceptional, in keeping with a high-end establishment. All the food was beautifully cooked with just the right amount of seasoning and flavour. Service was good, efficient and courteous. They've pitched the pricing just right with three courses at just under £24. I hesitate to heap any more praise on this restaurant, as it might make getting a table difficult in the future!

After several weekend visits, I've found the menu to be small and seasonally changing, with a great variety of options on Fridays and Saturdays. There is usually at least one fish and vegetarian main dish, along with meat options. The desserts are also excellent. The portion sizes are just right for the type of food being served. This restaurant is not part of a large group or chain like many pubs these days. The food is freshly cooked with a genuine passion and exceeds expectations for such a small and hidden away place. Due to its small size, I would recommend booking a table in advance, especially on weekends.

Recently, my group and I visited this restaurant just before Christmas and had a fantastic meal. Impressed, we decided to return for a birthday celebration last night. However, we were disappointed to find that the quality had declined drastically. The focus seemed to be more on style rather than substance. My crayfish salad starter was small and disappeared in just three bites. For the main course, three of us ordered lamb shank and three had haddock parcels. The presentation was lackluster, with the lamb shank simply placed in a bowl with a few random vegetables. The haddock looked appealing but lacked substance.
