Booked a table. Had a tasty lunch with our Sons. Great service and tasty food. Situated in a lovely area. We have booked again.

Snug good food but never sure when it’s open suggest phone first or use web site great scenery well worth a visit unique location

I’m due back up north next month to visit family and I’m already booking a lunch. It is home cooked great wholesome food. The meat and potato pie is for me, it gets 5 stars. Piel Island is a beautiful place to visit.

Had a lovely jacket potato with cheese that came with side salad and coleslaw. Nice menu to choose from. Nice Toilets too and friendly staff. Couldn't fault it. Lovely location near the ferry to Piel island. Free Car park nearby and public toilets.

Third time we have eaten here and it was delicious . Great food generous portions, good service. A real gem of a find. My husband and I had scampi with homemade chips, peas AND a lovely fresh salad. Also one son had lamb shank with chips and veg and elder son enjoyed burger .

A little Gem …. We weren’t really looking for food (just hot drinks) but as it was raining we thought we’d hunker down for a while. The ham, egg and chips were amazing (the best my partner has had in a long time) and the staff were really friendly and efficient. If you find yourselves on Roa Island I can definitely recommend!

This is a truly great little place we found at the end of a causeway in Roa Island, Nr Barrow. Their menus are quite varied serving delicious home made food. They are very busy during their opening hours and when we visited it was packed. At the front is a separate takeaway menu area, where they provide seating while you wait for your snacks or multi flavoured ice creams you can order.

My friend and went in here after walking along the coast from Barrow. It was very busy and we were asked if we had booked as all tables had been reserved. We didn’t but the girls managed to get us a table anyway. So glad they did as we were cold and in need of a hot drink and there wasn’t anywhere else to go. We had the steak baguette and pulled pork wrap off the specials board. Both were amazing and had big chunky chips. Pot of tea and coffee and cost was £20. Lovely warm place. Staff are lovely. Good amazing, what more could you want. I’m would recommend booking though if it’s lunchtime Saturday as many people were turned away.
