"I was planning to hike Arthur's Seat, so I wanted to keep my lunch light. I ordered the vegan haggis along with a toastie. I really enjoyed the different aromas of the vegan haggis. The sandwich was a good size and quite filling. I liked the haggis as well. My partner opted for the "Hungry Rabbit," which included mushrooms, paprika, and feta. I had a bite of it and found it delicious too. I would have loved to try more dishes, but I was still full from breakfast and didn't want to overeat before my hike. The food is only available for takeaway, so we found a spot in a nearby park to enjoy our meal. The location is very convenient, and I would definitely recommend it. The staff were friendly too. They also sell a variety of vegan treats, and I couldn't resist picking up some chocolate. Everything I've tried from the Gnaw brand is fantastic. This is an updated review from my previous one on September 22, 2022."

I love this place, was more than I can count! my favorite options are the “salmon” bagel and the “egg sausage” roll so well. delicious desserts and good coffee, plus the deli has amazing vegan cheese and sausages and chocolates.

Everything was delicious we had the Benedict baguette an egg and sausage sandwich, both very tasty, and — because the sweet treats were impossible to resist — a cinnamon roll and black currant custard cruffin: yum yum yum. Took it to the park down the road for a delicious brunch picnic.

I went to black rabbit together with my mum. We got a cinnamon roll wich was very big and delicious, a toasty with ham and cheese, a sandwich with a lot of greens and a coffee and chai latte. Everything was very delicious! Would definitely buy again. Updated from previous review on 2022 08 23

we stopped to breakfast sandwiches and were incredible! the benedict baguette was extremely good and the Steak Blue Chess Special was also delicious. the whole menu is vegan and I was so impressed by the extensive choice. be aware that it is gone, only there are no seats in the inner. we sat on a bank in the meadows near to eat.

I just had a few satisfying bites of the Vulture Roll, which was beautifully presented, and the Cheesecuffin, which was absolutely delicious! The Banh Mi sandwiches also looked amazing, as did the cakes, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try those. They offer some excellent vegan snack options that are hard to find elsewhere, along with a great selection of cheeses. Overall, it's a charming little spot!

I tried Black Rabbit for the first time, and it was an incredible experience! I opted for the special of the day, a sourdough bagel called Emile Veganzola, named after their homemade gorgonzola. I also had the legendary French dish, which was fantastic! The flavors were bold and satisfying, reminding me of how delicious food can be, even after transitioning to a plant-based diet. I can't wait to sample more of their baked goods and pastries in the future. Highly recommend!

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
