Black Country Chippy

I went in Xmas Eve and although the shop was extremely busy the food and service was first rate. Recommend to anyone.

This place has gone down hill, old chips and the portions have gone Ridiculously small Will never come back not even If the food is free

has big fish, it was nice to make sure they are hungry that I couldn't finish it! partner and dd also enjoyed eating and big thumbs for the curry sauce

Ordered 10"mixed kebab share box large chips,and 4 scallops For delivery told them I wanted chilli,mint,mayo,and Lemon put on the Meal When arrived all in pots chilli,Garlic mayo,mayo so that was wrong ,, nearly 27 pound I payed for this meal and my large bag of chips was Missing ,, fxxxxxg useless everytime I order food for delivery there's always something missing or wrong !!

Rude, abrupt staff, long waits and rising prices have made this chippy go downhill. It’s now hit or miss whether you get a nice meal or a terrible one. Tonight’s meal was so bad I don’t think I’ll be going back with scabby chips, a one centimetre thick roe, and more chips than kebab meat which when your paying for a large, you expect a good amount of meat to go with your chips. I was delivering food to a vulnerable person in the area and decided to stop here to get some food. Unfortunately, it was a bad decision. The battered sausage was extremely hard, breaking the fork when I tried to cut it. The chips were overcooked, as well as the fish roe, which was also overcooked and half missing. I regretted stopping here and wish I hadn't bothered. Overall, I would rate this experience as a total disappointment, deserving of zero out of five stars.

Just visited Black Country chippy drive from great Barr to come to this chippy, ordered mix chicken meat chips and salad , as there was no chicken in the trays staff started cutting the chicken from the spit raw chicken at top supposed to be cooked at the bottom chicken was not fully cooked) where are the hygiene rules where cooked and raw food are kept separate, do not know what has happened to this chippy but rating for this is definitely negative, have gone away hungry and very disappointed. This is a family run chippy so someone in the family needs to step up and put this chippy back on a he map before they lose it

I ordered delivery from this restaurant and it took 2 and a half hours to arrive. When it finally did, it was not the order I had placed. It seemed like my order had been forgotten, as I called multiple times to inquire about its status and was told it would be another 20 minutes each time. The order that arrived was incorrect, including the soda I had requested. I understand that weekends are busy, but if the restaurant is overwhelmed with orders, they should consider limiting deliveries to ensure that they can handle the volume. I paid £20 for two meals that arrived at around 10:30pm, despite ordering at 8pm. Unfortunately, I did not eat the food as it was not what I had ordered and appear... Voir le carte
