"Went here as was recommended to us. wasted our money overpriced for size of portions, have had better frozen ready meals. Chilli con carne, was more chilli con l think they forgot to put meat in, It was like they'd opened a jar of chilli sauce and thrown a few kidney beans in it then warmed it up and poured it into dish . The carpet at the rear towards the toilet and dessert display, was sticky. Sadly a big disappointment."

Excellent vegetarian lasagne in nice clean conditions and helpful young staff. We have been many times and we are not vegan .

Often visit Barnacles for a gluten free chippy and it’s always lovely!! Portions are very small for the price that’s the only critique.

Second visit and just as good as the first. The quality of the fish is second to none and cooked freshly to order. The service in the cafe is great and very friendly. I would highly recommend a visit.

great place for vegan options! friendly staff and tasty eating! I came here a few months ago when I was walking alone, and it worked out so I recommended it to my dad this time! really enjoyed the vegan jackfruit balti.

Worst chips we have had in as long as we can remember, 50% of them were full of eyes or were green and bad, the other 50% were dry and flavourless. Considering it's a fish and chip shop you'd think one of their main products would be decent.
