Waitress said I should have been given a steak knife. I don’t think that would have helped! The staff were not very interested despite the fact when we were asked we gave our honest opinion. They could have done better. We will not be returning or recommending."

I had a great experience with no issues as a first-time visitor. The staff served a good pint and provided fantastic service overall.

Food typical spoon, quick and hot. The amount of food you get seems to be getting less and less but the price remains the same. I suppose it’s good for the waist line.

This pub is about 40 mins walk from us and we have never been in 7 years…. Wow were we missing out!! In short, friendly staff, dog and family friendly, good reasonably priced drinks and the star of the show has to be the food. Everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced. Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious, one of the best we've had in a long while. Hot, fresh and plenty of it without plate being over loaded. Eaton mess large and creamy not some silly little two mouthful pot. place was clean and welcoming, staff friendly and attentive making it a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be revisiting soon.

We all had been on a coach trip to Springfields in Lincolnshire and the Barley Mow was our stopping off point for a meal. We had a 2 course Christmas meal which was excellent and mince pies and coffee or tea afterwards. The staff were really excellent the meal was served very quick and efficiently, definately recommend the Barley Mow to anyone, give it a try you wont regret it.
