"This quaint restaurant will not disappoint. We went on prime time on a weekend and staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The table service was excellent. Being a smaller restaurant to some of its neighbours the atmosphere is relaxed but can be buzzing. The authentic cuisine being served is truly remarkable, it is well presented and very tasty. Lovely place. Delicious food. Both lady and gentleman who probably are the owners were very kind and attentive. We were in Bognor for two days and we went twice there, for dinner and lunch. Lunchtime they were quite busy as there's good deal on set menu. If we come back to Bognor definitely pop in for more delish food.

A hidden gem. The best Thai food I’ve ever had and it’s my favourite cuisine so I’ve had it in many restaurants. Their pad Thai and massaman are gorgeous and they cater well to vegans and someone with a chilli intolerance. Cannot recommend this place enough must visit. Hands down my favourite restaurant. "Bit of a dream. Wonderful decor, excellent wine list, utterly sensational beef ragu with pappardelle, friendly staff, all of whom are (literally) invested in the restaurant. Went for lunch, but suspect it would be as good if not better for dinner. Menu is short, well put together, and convincing. Cakes and bread in the window. The obvious place to go for lunch in Arundel, and a new star in the area: knocks The Pig well off its pedestal, and even threatens the Parson's Table."

"What a wonder restaurant. Made very special by the lovely Italian lady who was our waitress. She loves the restaurant and her enthusiasm was contagious. The food was the best we have had in a long time. Everything was delicious. WE would recommend this place to anyone and wish that we lived closer so that we could take friends. The decor and music was also special and very laid back. Actually might make an overnight stay in Arundel just so that we can enjoy the food and wine fully without having to drive home it was that good!!!!"

"This is a lovely pub situated conveniently near Amberley train station. They offer three real ales. Although we didn't sample the food, we enjoyed a visit on a Sunday afternoon when there was a live music duo performing. The pub also features a beer garden, perfect for the warmer months."

"After a nice walk from Barnham we wanted to sample a local pub. The Holly tree looks really nice from the outside and on the inside had a lovely old pub feel, they had a film on for the kids and the bar staff were nice and friendly. We ordered a burger for my son, goujons and chips for the little one, ploughman's for myself and some chips and whitebait for my wife. Unfortunately the food was not up to any standard, my ploughman's ham was very old, while it wasn't off it was green where it had been in contact with the air to long, pickled onions weren't very nice and the bread wasn't fresh, a little stale. My sons burger was pink in the middle which isn't allowed unless the make the burgers in house from whole cuts of beef that have had the outside sealed (e coli risk) they did re cook it and was enjoyable afterwards, my wife's starter £7 for a whitebait and only received 5 for that price, I know as a chef that whitebait is one of the cheapest starters so I would expect at least 8 while you would still maintain a 70% GP. My son enjoyed his goujons, but these would have been bought in anyway, triple cooked chips were nice. Very disappointed, I'd be happy to show the pub how the quality of food should be."

"The Black Rabbit. Excellent location. Good variety of beverages and ample room to dine. Price was fair. Staff attentive. Reserved a table to avoid any dissapointment (which, by 12:30, the pub was filling up fast, so I would highly recommend booking in advance). The service was warm, friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The mushroom sausage roll was lovely as was the flatbread and hummus to start. For the main, the sea bass and mushroom risotto with tomato butter, was delicious. My girlfriend had the lamb medallions which was described as very tasty the gravy/jus a highlight . We both had pud, 1 apple tart and 1 chocolate brownie both delectable. Views of the arun and arundel Castle simply perfect! Recommend!"
