"Ambience on the noisy side. Why do groups of 4 people need to shout at each other across relatively small tables. Flavours in the food were relatively good as described in menu. Key ingredients in the dishes and dessert portion sizes were skimped in the extreme. Ingredients in Orata alla Sicilianna , Pan fried sea bass fillet approx 150 G , with herb crusted potatoes approx 100 G , roasted Marzanino tomatoes 4 very small marble sized tomatoes , garlic lemon and extra virgin oil dressing. We can buy this quantity and quality of ingredients for less than 4.00. Fratelli 's menus price 18.95 !!! Papardelle Salmone Smoked salmonwith leeks and onions in a cream white wine sauce, topped with wild rocket Really was hunt the salmon, and overall ingredients cost got to be less than 3.00. Fratelli 's menus price 14.95 !!! Draw you own conclusions on excessive mark ups. We challenge Fratelli 's to dispute justify these estimated buy in costs and what looks like a typical x 5 mark up from cost to selling. Initial reception was fairly friendly and efficient. Initial ordering ok, further ongoing attention and final atempt to settle bill painfully patchy and slow. Note the waitress offer Parmingiano free in pretty small pots ~20g to accompany main courses. Note they say Parmingiano not Parmigiano Reggiano which is a very different animal. Note ALDI sell the real thing Parmigiano Reggiano for less than 3.00 for 200g, last purchased by us about 2 weks ago. Perhaps Fratelli could clarify if their offering is Parmigiano Reggiano. We would not rush to go there again."

"Despite poor service this is definitely a restaurant to experience. The food was excellent, however we found the service let the over all experience down. The staff appeared more interested in cleaning tables than serving customers. For example, I had to get up and find someone to get cutlery after waiting 5-10 minutes after receiving our sweet. The espresso was cold as it had clearly been left a while before being brought to the table. We had to repeatedly attract staff attention to get drinks and food orders placed."

"We recently visited several times around Christmas and New Year with my two dogs, Limited and Betty, and my partner. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful regarding the dogs, and overall, they were wonderful! The bar area has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in contrast to the restaurant, which is more upscale, allowing for a pleasant dining experience. Thank you for your warm hospitality!"

"We had a pleasant dining experience at this popular restaurant. We skipped starters and went straight for the main courses. The only downside was the overly seasoned jus, but that might be because I prefer less salt in my own cooking. Some of us ordered the blade of beef, which was cooked perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their meals and was already talking about coming back. We have always had a good time at this restaurant, which is why we decided to make a reservation this time. The service was friendly and attentive, and our food and drinks arrived promptly. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you."

"Terrible Experience! From uncomfortable chairs and cramped tables, faulty toilet (no proper hand washing in gents- tap taped up in plastic bag) to really poor food- tough chewy pizza and chopped iceberg lettuce with unfresh tomato (described as fresh tomato/cucumber etc on a bed of lettuce) we thought it couldn't get worse. Apparently because we raised the food issues with his son (who was immediately defensive and irritatingly condescending) the owner ran after us outside and shouted at me across my wife in a face to face angry confrontation. Quite unbelievable behaviour from a family run restaurant who clearly have no customer focus and cannot handle any reasonable feedback or questioning of their produce. Avoid!!!"
