"a wonderful place to visit. the staff was very friendly, attentive and knew the menu and could explain, advise and describe. on the way to our garden table we were immediately offered water (a warm day) and a bowl of water for our little dog. nothing was too much annoyed. eating was delicious and well prepared and far over a 'normal' pub standard. highly recommended."

very beautiful in the landscape. warm, inviting place medium price range, but worth every penny. I and my friend both ordered the fish and the chips. succulent fish and chunky chips, but they were delicious non-dry chips. recommended full.

We had an outstanding lunch! The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the beer reasonably priced. The charming, well-maintained old building added to the pleasant atmosphere. It was so enjoyable that we're planning to go back tomorrow. Hotel highlights: Quiet and great value!

About a month ago, I made a reservation for an evening meal to celebrate my partner's birthday. We were greeted warmly in a comfortable atmosphere. The food service was excellent, and they discreetly acknowledged that it was a special occasion by beautifully decorating my partner's dessert. It was a lovely touch!
