Fantastic chips and great staff. Fish is always fresh, great burgers, kebabs and pies. I've never had anything bad from Alex's, it's really worth a visit.

Went for a chippy tea. When I got home the chips were not cooked and they were just wrapped in paper. Dripping with grease. Jaaps catch 5 mintutes away. Go there it is much bettter!

Asked and paid for a medium chips and received this!!! Absolutely appalling the portion sizes for what you are paying. This seems to be happening quite a lot now each time I’ve gone in.

Chips cooked just how I like them! Ordered a large cod but I'd consider it a small. Fish a tiny bit chewy at the ends but good in the middle. I don't like that they still use polystyrene trays, plastic forks plastic bags.

We had fish and chips, kebabs and a burger. All of the food was amazing, quality was excellent and we did not have to wait long. All the food comes out fresh to order and the staff go above and beyond with their customer service....
