"We had dinner a few days ago to celebrate a birthday. the location is very precious with frescoes and furnishings with goto style and elegant country house'. As for the menu had previously been agreed and each of our wishes was indulgent (I am vegan and I have asked many variations to prepare). a plausion for the chef because all the dishes were very well cared for and without doubt the raw materials are excellent and integrated with the territory. It's okay, but the real difference makes people: availability, kindness, courtesy and warm welcome to children (and my parents are 5 years old and are two earthquakes) a thanks also to the girl who treated the service for professionalism and smile. excellent value for money. "Sono stato in questo bellissimo locale Sabato a pranzo, insieme ai miei due bambini. Ho trascorso ore piacevoli, mangiando piatti semplici ben cucinati, panissa veramente gustosa, accompagnati da un rosso della casa pregevole. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, personale tutto al femminile cortese, efficiente e con un buon approccio con i bambini. Spero in futuro di poter provare le rane, ed altre specialità. Locali simili devono essere valorizzati. Complimenti!"

"The restaurant is located in San Damiano, a small hamlet in the municipality of Carisio, in the province of Vercelli. Place of rice fields with buildings, many of which are now almost ruins, unfortunately. You arrive at the Cuore d 'oro restaurant by word of mouth and given the very basic external sign where it is difficult to read the given name, we would hardly have stopped or even noticed it if not recommended by local people. I think it 's one of the few real trattorias left. The interior furnishings are spartan but pleasant, without frills, essential. The fireplace gives warmth to the room. The welcome is kind, reserved, but available. One of the very rare refreshment points where you are not disturbed by background music, which invites customers to... converse softly... Excellent dishes, attentive service. Good choice of starters, first and second courses, well presented and cooked. Generous portions. A very pleasant discovery. The trattoria has always existed here in San Damiano, and the current owner who also served us lunch, explains to us that her family has been running it for fifty years but that it already had its own past as a trattoria. The place is not small in size but is divided into separate spaces of different capacities. Great coffee. A shame not to return, perhaps for a Piedmontese appetizer, a panissa or a nice plate of fried frogs. Just a personal suggestion to the kind owner: make the sign better readable, give it life and a little color that reflects the heart of gold that lies beyond that gray door."

"Ho frequentato il ristorante per anni prima del cambio gestione. All'arrivo c'era sempre il proprietario a darti il benvenuto e il cibo era si da self service, ma di ottima qualità. Ora invece ci sono tre banconi per il self service dove praticamente vieni costantemente rimbalzato alla cassa. Alla richiesta di cosa c'era disponibile la risposta è stata: Il menù è appeso al muro. Alla richiesta di una Panissa la risposta è stata: 20 minuti, vada in cassa e gliela portiamo noi. Siete un self service? Ma chi aspetta venti minuti in un self service per un primo? Andiamo nella zona secondi piatti: stessa risposta, vada alla cassa che portiamo noi. Praticamente 20 metri lineari inutili dove tutti i clienti vengono rimbalzati alla cassa dove invece c'è posto per tre vassoi, tutti vuoti, visto che nessuno riesce ad accaparrare del cibo. Siamo nel mondo del non senso. Quando ho fatto notare che i due primi ordinati erano stati conteggiati 4 volte, la ragazza invece di scusarsi sosteneva che stavo pagando ciò che era dovuto. Peccato che mostrandole lo scontrino ha dovuto ammettere l'errore e quindi ci ha ovviamente ridato 17 euro. Davvero un peccato, da un posto dove ero contento di andare a un posto dove non mettere più piede. Buona fortuna"
