"The Copper Kettle is a Cambridge institution. It's changed hands many times over the years and the current owners have a very nice Turkish slant which complements the standard English cafe food nicely. We were a group of six on a busy Boxing day and they pulled a table together for us really quickly. Food was with us less than 10 mins after ordering and we were out again in under 30 mins. Food was really good. So much better than any of the chain restaurants in Cambridge where we have ahad shocking service previously."

We visited on Christmas Eve for breakfast. Delicious food (avocado on toast and breakfast bap) and amazing carols. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful restaurant/cafe, thoroughly enjoyed for a Christmas meal with friends. Food was good, service was better. Beautiful setting overlooking King's College too.

Fantastic lunch! We ate here twice as the lunch menu provides good choice. The wraps are just what we wanted for our lunch and set us up well for the day. We sat both indoors and out and both were lovely.

Fabulous place! Seven of us had an early dinner there last Saturday. The location is perfect opposite Kings College, near the shops and theatre. Service is 1st class, Bev made us feel so welcome. The food is exceptional. I had prawn cocktail and then lamb with salad and rice, too full for a wonderful dessert I’m afraid. Would highly recommend. Voir le carte

Had dinner this evening with 13 year old grandson. Never visited before today. Excellent choice of food and a pleasant relaxed restaurant atmosphere. Wait staff very attentive without being the least bit obsequious. We had the burger, the chickpea casserole and my grandson a wrap and fries. Deserts were very very good especially the cherry crumble tart. Will go there again for sure.

View: great (of King's College). Cappuccino: strong, hot, foamy. I had the veggie breakfast with gluten free toast. Existence of gluten free toast: Thumbs up. But: Mushrooms inedible; tasteless, tepid and out of a tin. Tomato: watery and cold. Scrambled eggs: OK. Baked beans: a lot, in a separate dish, jist the right temperature. Avocado: pre-crushed. The mushrooms and tomato very disappointing for the price.
