Also second only to winning the lottery is the joy of arriving in time to get cinnamon rolls when they're hot in the morning (hurry they never last long). And the brownies, oh god the brownies...... "An absolutely incredible place to dine! We had our wedding meal here since we weren't able to have a big reception due to COVID It was hands down the best choice we made!!! Comfortably held 36 of us after the ceremony. We opted for a six course taster menu with matching wine flights. Throughout the evening you could literally hear people being wowed all across the room, with every new dish and wine. The food and a lot of the drinks were sourced locally and the chef has his own allotment so used his own produce. You could hands down taste the freshness and care put into each dish and when it's served accompanied by its own little story and brief detail on the wine, it just makes the whole evening feel that much more special! The whole experience, start to finish, was seamless. We met to look at our budget and discuss what we wanted. Shortly after we were sent a menu for us to review loved how everything sounded and booked. We did some table decorations but kept it minimal as the venue has a beautiful set up as it is. The day came and they totally delivered on every front! Guests were talking about it for days and weeks after. An amazing success. We went back for a valentine's meal and can see ourselves doing a regular drop in. Thanks so much, we've been completely blown away ."

"I popped into Broth3rs on a whim, on the way to the restaurant I intended to go to and I guess I'll never know whether that was a good idea. There's two ways into Broth3rs and I think I came in the back way. I walked through an alleyway, into a courtyard and then down a short hallway to the restaurant. The reservation system was by the door on the other side of the room. It was only awkward briefly as I was seen quickly and directed to a table. I got tap water without asking, which is great and serviced without a fuss. My meal was the Broth3rs pizza and then a slice of vanilla cheesecake. Hands down: the cheesecake was the best course. It's a bit unusual for the titular pizza in an Italian pizza to be beaten by dessert but it was. The pizza was fine, better than the cardboard from the franchises but not on par with the sourdough masterpieces I've become used to. The base felt almost dry and crumbly in comparison but I ate it eagerly. Equally, the topping wasn't heaped but it wasn't sparse either. In constant, the cheesecake came with cream, strawberries and a lovely sauce."

"I returned to this charming restaurant for a second time. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. The starter and main course were outstanding, although the desserts, while still good, did not quite meet the same high standard. I would definitely come back again."

"We were lucky enough to score the last free table for their three course pre theatre sitting. The restaurant is lovely, stylishly furnished only slight downside is a spiral staircase to access the toilets which may cause problems to some with limited mobility. The complimentary starter of warm, homemade bread, lemon butter and pea dip set the tone for the meal delicious, as was the haggis, neeps tatties and cod pate starters. The coley with smoked haddock was unusual and very flavourful, as was the pork shoulder, and we fought over the hand cut chips! I had a lovely dessert of apples, elderflower ganache and gooseberry ice cream whilst my partner chose Cheddar which was eye wateringly strong! Fairly short but unusual wine list, reasonably priced. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, finding extra seats to allow us to join a couple with whom we had struck up a conversation. Will definitely return if we are in the area, a highlight of our trip."
