"The room was overpriced for what it offered. It was small and had a compact double bed. The bathroom in our room was outdated, and the wallpaper was held down in the corners with nails. To my surprise, there was no soap or handwash available. The bar and restaurant were crowded due to a football match, which was a bit frustrating because we were seated in a small booth with groups standing around us while we ate, and they kept placing their glasses on our table. The food was enjoyable, and the staff were excellent; however, the room rates felt high considering the quality and condition of the accommodations."

"my wife and I traveled a few years ago through england and scottland for our slumbering weeks (from the states) and we have since thought of this place. it was our favorite Indian food that we had everywhere in Britain, and we ate quite pieces in our weeks. Funny we ended up here by chance. I look forward to the day we can deliberately go back. the building was very unique and the owner was much fun to chat. highly recommended"

"Too many things to list, but the fact there was a function on in the hotel which was directly underneath the bedrooms , and the restaurant was closed are but just rwo. The noise from the function carried on until nearer 1 in the morning. Had we been made aware of this at the time of booking we could perhaps made other arrangements. As for breakfast! That was continental, which we knew at the time of booking but the choice was poor and on short supply. Despite my efforts to make contact with this hotel to discuss the matters my emails have been ignored and no one is answering the telephone or replying to my messages I have left. Definitely not good enough for Scottish hospitality."

"A perfect place for breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner and a family party for 30! The location, decoration and atmosphere is delightful with it’s beautiful views of the beach, it’s fun quirky decor, friendly staff and great food. We have visited Molly’s several times since returning to Stonehaven for many occasions these past few months and have not been disappointed. Breakfast, whether a Sunday vegetarian breakfast, a salmon benedict or an eggie softie they are all freshly made and tasty. We also enjoy the lovely brewed coffee with a wee biscuit, all together are simply delicious. Lunch has a popular selection of soups, sandwiches, mains and desserts. The Cullen Skink was full of fresh fish and the best my husband has had. The tasty sticky toffee pudding was well, sticky toffee pudding, need I say more? The staff kindly put a candle on it for my father-in-law’s 86th birthday. Dinner has not disappointed us, the chef changes the menu often and it caters for all dietary needs. We asked for the scallops and black pudding dish to be prepared lactose free and it was returned to our son served with a delicious herb sauce instead. PARTY PLACE, the perfect place for a party! Janice and her team took great care of everything for our family wedding welcome party for 30. The menu choices were delicious, the staff helpful and friendly and the layout perfect for celebrating with family. We highly recommend Molly’s."

"Ok well a garden center and store with a restaurant in the back. store is nice for some shopping the restaurant gave me a USA diner vibe. Out the back the attendant Seem lost and not knowledgeable. Ask if we where ready to order we reply yes and then she left the table to grab her tablet. Why ask if you ready to order if you are not ready to take the order. On to the food. The order consisted on the special of the day (Pork Ribs in BBQ jerk sauce., Steak burger and battered chicken. The ribs. Beside the BBQ there meat felt like no flavor to it. The burger taste like Venison. Very low fat meat and a bit dry. The flavor itself was good interesting twist. The chicken was good and cook perfectly not dry at all. However the common theme is that there is no seasoning to the chicken or batter. However very crisp add some salt and is good to go."

"It’s been a while since I’ve tasted a plate of food and thought wow, but that is exactly what I done when I tasted the BBQ Monkfish in the crab and ginger bisque. Popping with flavour. Superb. Also had a taste of the BBQ lamb it it was perfect. After just moving the the area, we think the stack has become our family’s go to when ever we fancy a treat. Service: Dine in"

"This was our first time here since it re opened (other than having a takeaway . They didn 't have our table booking for some reason, but managed to accommodate the 6 of us. The food was great overall, but some of the sides were not available, such as the potato dauphinoise. It did take the staff a good while to advise of this, but alternatives were available. I would say the staff were very friendly but there were a few things which were a bit 'off ' no cooler/ice bucket offered when we ordered prosecco. Would have expected a member of staff to fill the glasses initially too? We had to ask for a cooler. The main dishes were served a bit sporadically, but they all arrived within 5 minutes of each other. We loved the desserts! Overall, would recommend. The portions were very generous. In fairness, would give a rating of 3 1/2 out of 5. We did have a laugh and a good night :"
