"My friend and I went there for a cream tea, the grounds are beautiful, service was excellent but the 'cream tea ' was absolute rubbish. We had a glass of processco each, lovely, but then the tea turned up, we asked for English breakfast tea, I think someone forgot to add the tea leaves, English breakfast it was not. On the server were four scones with cream and jam, fine there were four small sandwiches ok, but the cakes were obviously stale, they were crumbled at the edges, hence they had been handled a number of times. the whole presentation looked tatty and old and all for £56??? rip off."
