Austattung is rustic with bajuwaric impact, cozy flat. The service is friendly, courtesy and accessible. The food is excellent but, according to the decor, rustic.

As a Berliner I guarantee, if tou want to have a nice and delicious German cuisine, this is the place to be. Staff is super friendly and the food is just being good . Totally recommend it!

We have all been to restaurants in which the only memorable thing about the dining experience was the bill. Zur Haxe gave me a dining experience that I can rave about. It has huge portion that is tasty. My husband had the roasted pig knuckle with a ginormous cold beer. The skin was crunchy & the meat was moist. I had the pork liver that was only rated slightly below my all time favorite. The liver was moist & well prepared, without the gamey, **** tang. The bill for 5 people, including 4 drinks, 4 main entrees, 2 sided, & a soup was 73 euros. We were not able to finish our shared meals.

We tried the Berlinische Bayerische Restaurant, which was a Greek before. Shortly after twelve we were almost the first Sunday guests and the Lord of the House dressed with leather pants and so on we were kindly greeted in the local Idiom. The map is grounded and in no way Bavarian, but I do not understand enough. We had pawlings with scavengers and band noodles. Both were freshly prepared and delicious.
