Zur Goldenen Gams - Carte

This is a great restaurant next to the ski school on top of a glacier. You have self-service or waiter service on the lovely terrace overlooking the mountains. Not chi chi but great food, great prices and amazing view.

The only one restaurant with waiters on the Stubaier Glatscher. Nice because aleays You can find a place. Beatifull view in sunny day. Also only one restaurant with Pizza. Food maybe not excellent but ok. For a break during the ski day- very good!

Im letzten Jahr war die Küche besser. Hatten eine lange Wartezeit, das Essen wurde nicht gleichzeitig serviert, der Bauerntoast war trocken, der Suppenknödel sehr klein, Wiener Schnitzel klein, dünn, hart. Hoffen es wird wieder so gut wie im letzten Jahr, da war alles okay. Voir le carte

I came twice for lunch at the Stubai Glacier. The food is good and the staff usually seemed helpful except a guy who refused to help me and just told me to wait for his colleagues. The staff seemed to be somewhat overwhelmed, although the place was not as crowded as we were there.

Restaurant offensichtlich schlecht gemanagt, nicht voll, aber überfordert. Haben 15 Minuten auf die Bedienung gewartet, nach weiteren 45 Minuten die Getränke nicht erhalten. Das Essen war lecker, aber nicht warm, kam nacheinander. Alle Gäste - und damit auch die Bedienungen - genervt, zumal Bedienung draußen Pflicht ist. Schade, denn es gibt hier nicht so viele Optionen

... but even then it is not guaranteed that you get your food.We ask several times whether our food was forgotten and some of our drinks never came. Other guests got their food (same as ours) much faster but were missing something else.Talking to them is useless, they just ignore you. This was a very painful experience. We specifically asked one of the waiters if we could bring some food from the cafeteria downstairs and she smiling replied yes. So we went ahead ordered a pizza and then took the salad from the cafeteria downstairs. When we found a table to sit another waitress comes and rudely says it's not allowed. We try to explain her that we have ordered food and the salad is just an accompaniment since they don't have it there and she was not ready to listen. The way she behaved was unacceptable.

We had a lunch during our break from a ski course, a waitress, blond petite size, was awfully disrespectful to almost all the patrons. Even couple of colleagues saw the way she was telling off to customers who were trying to order food. And, I even heard the similar comments from the participants of my course. It is best not to recruit waitress who does not meet the basic requirments to offer services to cutomers but only tarnish long built reputation of the restaurants.
