"My friend and I recently staid at this hotel (which also has a restaurant and banquet facilities during our weekend stay in Solothurn. The hotel is located in the historic city centre of Solothurn, and is within walking distance of all the local attractions. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the main train station located on the other side of the river. The hotel appears as if it has been recently renovated on the inside, and the rooms are very clean. They have done a fantastic job of taking a small space and making it roomy. Their are 4 floors of rooms and those on the 2nd floor have shared bathrooms. I typically stay away from shared bathrooms, but this hotel's bathrooms were extremely clean, they provided you with robes, and toiletries (shampoo soap . Because it is in an older building their is no air conditioning. However, even though we staid during one of the hottest weekends in August, we had no issues with the room temperature. They provide a very nice fan, and the room stays cool during the day, and at night if you open the window and turn on the fan the temp was just fine. You might wander about the noise of the room if the windows are open. I definitely did,and always come prepared with ear plugs. However, this hotel earns it five star review, in that they are perfectly aware that it can be noisy, and provide wax ear plugs (some of the best I have ever had! . They even provided fresh ones on the second day and don't expect you to reuse them! That is the first time I have been to a hotel that provided good ear plugs. Their is free wifi in the hotel rooms, and breakfast was included in the price. The breakfast buffet was perfect. They even provide a warmer for your coffee or tea pot at your table, and you can ask for hard boiled eggs. The staff are incredibly friendly, and I wish I could have staid longer. You even get a free welcome drink in their hotel restaurant on your first night. Awesome find!"

Kleine Karte super Essen von A Z. Das Wildgericht war für ein Mittagsmenue Spitzenklasse. Auch die Gorgonzola Ravioli waren sehr fein.

Fantastisches Ambiente aus stilvolleren Tagen, freundliche Bedienung, Leckeres Essen, Hanenwasser inklusive und sehr feines Minidessert gibt Laune für den Home-Office-Nachmittag.

Wir hatten ein sparangebot gebucht inkl. Übernachtung und Abendessen. Preis/Leistung ist super, das Zimmer war sehr gross (2 Betten à jeweils 1.40 und das Abendessen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder :

Ein sehr charmantes Altstadt-Hotel. Die Zimmer waren sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Abendessen war fein und das Frühstück für uns ausreichend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die Zimmer machten einen neuen und gepflegten Eindruck. Bei unserer Reservation informierten wir das Hotel darüber, dass wir vegan sind, woraufhin uns der Küchenchef ein hervorragendes Menü hingezaubert hat! Wir sind wirklich sehr zufrieden.
