Zum Scheele (im Scheelehof)

We ate here recently, the food was delicious, service excellent and value for money also fine. Portions were large, so be warned. Nice job!

During our stay in 3 days, we ate two lunches and a dinner in the evening. There is only one way to explain the food, great. A must if you visit the stralse.

This is an upscale restaurant in a historic hotel of the old town. They offer a lunch menu which is super in terms of quality for price. I had fresh cod fish with vegetables, a revisitation of the classical portuguese recipe, and Swedish cake; both were excellent and very fresh. Service is high standard. Don't miss it!

we were ten days in the scheelehof, so also more often in the restaurant 'to shele'. we were very happy. However, it is recommended to reserve a place in the winter garden, as it moves considerably in the restaurant in the main house. we were recommended to "to the sheel". the service was brittle-friendly and inflexible. the waiting period between the courses too long and the performance of the kitchen (for the main course of meat and fish) could not convince us to a refreshment visit. the price/performance ratio was also not convincing. very pity - but stralsund has better addressed.

on a 16-day journey through Germany and we had to experience the most beautiful disappointment in this restaurant. white tomato mousse was good. then the things: table-spitz-consommé with sherry tomatoes with green stem, that cannot be eaten in a suppe. we ordered roast beef and got a entrecôte bleu fried, so **** and cold. why do not know what a roastbeef is. if we had been asked about the point, we would have been skeptical immediately. unfortunately we couldn't eat bite, but the court was not calculated at least. at the nice lady of the service we immediately apologized, as we reacted a little bit cash. she couldn't do anything for it, but the question arises: why isn't a restaurant manag...

Yesterday we were walking through the street and returned to the sheel spontaneously. we regretted it afterwards. the price-performance ratio was absolutely wrong. the food was a fall. the corn-taler supplement was black fried, in the tomato-spargel vegetables were small-cut spices in it, which caused the green asparagus and the tomatoes not to taste. the salmon was good, but cold, as the sweet as well after the returned teller with two slightly better looking corn balls then returned after 10 minutes.
