Van der Valk Hotel is just 10 minutes from the airport by car and about 2 minutes from the motorway exit. The rooms and the ambience are modern and clean. On the top floor there is a sauna for free use for hotel guests. The only negative is that the service in the restaurant is a little mean. If it's full, you need to plan long waiting times.

This restaurants serves really good food. I know van der Valk from Holland because I'm Dutch. In Holland Van der Valk is a big name. We had dinner at ZiZou and the quality is so much better than the Dutch van der Valks. I had the carpaccio for starters with truffle dressing, fantastic! Main course was the shortrib with lobster. Great, great, great. Interior of restaurants is also very nice! Highly recommendable!

We ate a three-way menu here, this was in the arrangement we had. The privilege and main dish was really smug! We're a fan of the hotel, the brass and the hotel bar, all very good quality/quality relationship. The restaurant fell badly on that one this time.
