Great food in a very nicely decorated restaurant. We celebrated my wife's birthday there and it was perfect. Food was delicious and the music was good too.

Nice asian style location; if you do not know it, you will not visit it...too hidden. great atmosphere, nice food very nice and stocked bar. during my visit slightly understaffed but def. worthwile a visit..

If you are looking for a place to keep on drinking but being able to chat in a comfy but cozy and very stylish setting, Zenzekan is the place. It is actually connected to the Mon a mie Maxi, the great chinese restaurant. Therefore for an upscale evening experience it would be a great idea to start the evening with dinner at Mon a mie maxi and pass on to Zenzekan to keep on drinking while having a chat. Voir le carte

We had a dinner for two here. The atmosphere is very nice. Was a bit too dark and needed to use mobile phones for light to read the menu). We took the special starter surprise plate for two which was great (I think 29 euros per person). After that, we had very high expectations from the main course (slow cooked Lamb) but that was a disappointment.We also had a nice waiter and were very happy with the service. All in all, a nice place for a special evening.

In spite of its luxe interiors and attractive outdoor patio, Zenzakan feels like a throwback to the 90s. Entirely too cavernous for a cozy date night, it must generate the majority of its business during lunchtime (it is, after all, located in an office park). Entrees are varied and portions are adequate. A real stand-out is the truffled duck breast over udon noodles. This review may be a bit jaded, as we come from Los Angeles where sushi is exceptional. At Zenzakan it's good.

Location: Asian, dark, a lot of red, something between club and restaurant feeling, electro music in the backgroundService: professional, quite quick, attentive, but not too starchedFood: very high quality, great taste, we shared a mixed plate with 3 different meats. High end, they were served with three different sauces.prices: higher but fair, we were two persons which shared one starter, the mixed meat plate, some side orders, 2 drinks, a bottle of water and one digestif, 150 EUR.Definately recommendable if you want high class meat at a clubby atmosphere. If you love Asian food and tired of the ordinary, this is your place! A warm and welcoming atmosphere - very cool decoration and setting with staff taking genuinely care of you. Food was just amazing. Our party ordered a wide range of starters, Nori Pizza, different Sushis, Tuna Tataki... all very fresh, new mix of flavours and beautifully presented. For main we chose the Zenzakan Duck that just melted in our mouths –and the portion was very filling. Ending the evening with some Japanese sweets and chocolate delights – not forgetting the excellent wine of the house. Next time in Frankfurt we will be back – or maybe trying the Ivory for some Indian cuisine, same owners, so should be great!

At least once I week I have to go abroad on a business trip. The client selects the restaurant where we'll be dining after work. Usually it's a quiet, luxury place serving whatever food is traditional to the region.But this time things were different! In Frankfurt, we visited an "Asian Fusion" restaurant called Zenzakan. It's a fancy place. It's a show off place. You go here to impress somebody or to underline something. The ambience is a key point. The main key point. Richly decorated, bit kitschy but still very impressively looking. Super nice for a business evening/ event. Well hidden from people's eyes, not easy to find if you don't know it. Overcrowded during numerous show/ salons. Booking in advance is required. The service is... hmmmmm... ehhhhhhh... the service. You may sit half an hour before someone takes the order. PLEASE!!!
