"Located in the idyllic Odenwald on the edge of the forest, this charming, owner-guided rural hotel is located. The Nimbles already appreciate the beautiful landscape, because here in the southern Odenwald was their preferred hunting area. The hotel has its name from nearby Siegfriedbrunnen, beautiful hike here the Königssohn Siegfried, hero of the Nibelungensage was killed by his opponent Hagen von Tronje during a hunting trip. In addition to hectic and stress, you can enjoy wellness, conferences, celebrations or a beautiful sun place in the hotel garden to relax by the seawater pool. From here also many well-signed hiking trails and mountain bike trails start to explore the Odenwald in winter. The hotel has many beautiful rooms furnished in the farmhouse to dine inside. My friend and I took this beautiful summer day on the sun terrace in the beautiful hotel garden. The regional fresh food offers: starters: e.g. gratinated goat cheese in honey, smoked meat with curry onions, snails......... Soups: e.g. stone mushroom soup, lobster creams, Thai fish soup...... etc. At the time of the coffee, the in-house terrace weeps cakes and cakes that can hardly resist. Here you have the torment of choice, no easy decision at all delicacies, we finally decided after long thoughts for: Bouillabaisse salad in champagne dressing with fish, Sampis and mussels, with 2 types of sauces and baguettes colorful, crispy salad with warm fish and warm baguette delightful staff. "For me one of my favorite restaurants. Visiting Graziano brings joy and is more than delicious. And to take the most important forward: we have never been disappointed, have always been served very good Italian food. The menu is clear and rich. Still, you don't lose yourself in it and find what you like quickly. My personal passion is Spaghetti Frutti di Mare. By the way: you also find beautiful places outside, we feel very comfortable there every time. Unlimited recommended."

"The dining facilities at our lodging were temporarily closed, and our hosts in Hammelbach recommended Hagen. We called for a 7:30PM reservation. We arrived about 7:32PM and were surprised to be gently admonished for being late. It was soon cleared up, as the reservation had been noted as a 6:30PM. Nonetheless, our table was ready, menus given, and orders taken. A salad bar accompanied most meals, and this was our first experience with this in Germany. There were about a dozen items: the usual leafy mix, tomatoes, cucumbers, quartered boiled eggs, but also (as should be expected the tasty German salads: Weißkraut, Karottensalat, Grünbohnen, and more. The restaurant was busy, so the salad bar showed a little wear and tear, but was a nice addition all things considered. Our main courses were the rump steak with onions and fries, and the turkey with curry sauce and sweet potato fries. The turkey dinner arrived at least 5 minutes before the steak. (About 6 plates passed our table en route to other diners in the interim. When the steak finally came and was cut, it was declared perfectly done! The turkey was also good, and the sweet potato fries were wonderful! The price was reasonable, and the place was busy (and a little noisy natutally with customers of all ages. With relatively few choices in the area, Hagen is a good option."
