"A small but excellent Osteria a bit off the beaten path in Verona. Outstanding service, being friendly but not overbearing. The food was great from the appetizers through dessert. The wine recommendations were also very good. I can highly recommend this restaurant and I would not hesitate to return when I have the chance. The prices were very reasonable given the high quality."

"welcome. the owner of "house" opens the door to its guests with a nice smile. cozy small room 7 tables in front kitchen to see..brigati of only men. Careful. .control and also observe the commensals that help the service tables. nice menu...x my taste. .excessive in some dishes the marked use of some ingredients. too tarassaco on the ravioli. The tomato powder on the sea salad in less quantity would appreciate the taste of the fish as it ended... sweet to share the .crostatine cocoa and discreet but disproportionate coffee. Oh, good praline.. nice service but not appropriate..poco careful.. the addition of the cutlery that passes in front of the customer is not pleasant. Last flow... I used knife x handcuffs when it's actually just my husband. Every time they had to shorten only x 1... and in the final glass wine. .in unidentified internal qlk granule . maybe residual wine? to the mescita did not realize initially my husband degota .but just stopped the glass realizes of the intruder. . no one had the kindness to ask if everything went well.. because it was left half a glass..p.s. very good the grissini. "The Evangelist The Evangelist welcomes us hungry, on an unlikely time, on a festive day and in less than two minutes we have our table. At the entrance we almost thought we had wrong entrance kitchen, exposed wines, Gianelli coffee machine there, almost as if I could use it I take away every doubt, the entrance was correct and for us was immediately synonymous with transparency. The young chef, but in his dishes the history and experience of those who have spent a life in the kitchen. The chief room could not be more friendly and kind person. That I never come again to say that in the North of Italy they do not know what hospitality is, because there is no more hospitable person of the Head Hall of the Restaurant the Evangelist. Last but not for importance, and my favorite since I am a lover of good wine what I think was the sommelier. Pacata, kind and prepared person who offered us a great Rosso Veronese “Palazzo della Torre”, wine of which we fell in love. "Wow! What fantastic food! The best pasta we had during our stay in Verona! It's a shame we couldn't go back... We didn't have a reservation but was able to get a table for 4 as soon as it opened at 7pm for 90mins, we were so lucky as they were turning people away so would highly recommend booking. Two of the dishes were without tomatoe sauce and they tasted amazing! Service was fantastic and we weren't rushed at all. I asked for a recommendation for a red wine to have with my pasta and it was always fantastic!
