"After driving 40 mins purposely to what was supposed to be a treat at our fav restaurant in this part of Catalunya we were met with an announcement that we should have booked a table as too busy but if you want to come back in a hour it will be fine. We sat at a lovely little bar and had nuts with a beer before going back to BENNIFALLET XINGLINGITO Then after the hour. .......MY GOODNESS WHAT A RUDE IGNORANT WELCOME FROM THE OWNER whom had previously always been very accommodating. He nearly spat in my husbands face saying ‘ what do you want.? Speak to me ? In Catalan language whereas previously he spoke in English . He said a table would be about 20 mins if we wanted to wait on the terrace outside. No offer to sit and have a drink at the bar, no apology. We obviously were not welcome or wanted inside the premises We sat in the back street for 30 mins before he popped his head out muttering something and slammed the door. We went in and yes a table was set for us but he just pointed to it and walked away. My husband was fuming and we decided that as we had been good customers previously he had no reason or right to be so rude so we walked out WE HAD NO APOLOGY AND NO EXPLANATION AND WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT OR PART WITH OUR MONEY TO SUCH A IGNORANT PERSON AGAIN"

What a find, tucked away down a side street the food was excellent and the staff really friendly. Nice touches were the extra starters, deserts and chips! Will be back

El menjar bonissim,.relacio qualitat preu molt bo i el servei tambe, ara no demaneu xupito perque un de petit que normalment te l'obsequien aqui et cobten 4 euros per cadascu ,ho hem trobat exagerat perque era el gotet petitet Voir le carte

I've eaten her on and off for many years. Booking is essential as the restaurant gets very busy most days. The menu del dia is excellent value and the house wines are very nice indeed. Looking forward to returning in the autumn.

Restaurante recomendado por gente de la zona y con razón, pedimos reserva el día de antes por qué es bien sabido que siempre se llena. El local muy lleno pero no te hacen esperar, entre otras cosas hay que destacar los mejillones tremendos y sin olvidarnos de sus arroces, el de marisco y el de montaña para llorar de lo buenos que estaban, lo único que no acabó de convencer fue la parrillada de verduras que sin ser mala la encontramos escasa para nosotros . Eso sí, barato el restaurante no es pero disfrutamos tantos que no nos importó. Si regreso por la zona de seguro que repetimos.
