"After driving 40 mins purposely to what was supposed to be a treat at our fav restaurant in this part of Catalunya we were met with an announcement that we should have booked a table as too busy but if you want to come back in a hour it will be fine. We sat at a lovely little bar and had nuts with a beer before going back to BENNIFALLET XINGLINGITO Then after the hour. .......MY GOODNESS WHAT A RUDE IGNORANT WELCOME FROM THE OWNER whom had previously always been very accommodating. He nearly spat in my husbands face saying ‘ what do you want.? Speak to me ? In Catalan language whereas previously he spoke in English . He said a table would be about 20 mins if we wanted to wait on the terrace outside. No offer to sit and have a drink at the bar, no apology. We obviously were not welcome or wanted inside the premises We sat in the back street for 30 mins before he popped his head out muttering something and slammed the door. We went in and yes a table was set for us but he just pointed to it and walked away. My husband was fuming and we decided that as we had been good customers previously he had no reason or right to be so rude so we walked out WE HAD NO APOLOGY AND NO EXPLANATION AND WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT OR PART WITH OUR MONEY TO SUCH A IGNORANT PERSON AGAIN"

"molt coil coil, elaborated, amb a great varietat of plats/entry. anys de bona feina i en continua millora. a bon lloc per menjar aprofitant les visites de l’entorn que et sorprendan. update maig 2022); restaurant in constant actualització i millora. currentització de la carta i del menu ,noo plats que et fan salivar només de llegir-ho, reducció delsentrets en el menu diari, elaboració i presentació dels noo plats que et sorprendran. no suns in the plats hi ha una constant renovated i millora també podem dir que les persones que hi treballen denoten una àmplia organització al darrere. volem to highlight the rèmol tenbossat presentt damunt of the cos espinat of the rèmol ,amb petits trossets of rèmol tenbossat i acompanyat of petites trossets of calamarsets i of gambes també les pembes.Tal i com es feia en l’arròs del senyoret"

"We stayed for one night on our way to Barcelona and what a great find this was. Being an old station, it intrigued us as to how it had been adapted and we can now say that it was done very successfully. We stayed in one of the four rooms in the pension (the converted signalman's box/accommodation), the other rooms were vacant as it is towards the end of the season I suspect. We could also park our motorbikes right outside the pension. There are also other rooms in a separate building and the restaurant is in the station building itself. The room was a good size with plenty of sockets, an effective ac unit, comfy bed and the bathroom had bio products and a hand held powerful hair dryer. It was a very peaceful night's sleep as it is located in a rural setting. We ate our evening meal at the restaurant on site and it was all very tasty, locally sourced food. We had white beans with clams and a ham and cheese quiche to start, chicken leg with fries and beef cheek with fries for our main course and a chocolate brownie and a cheesecake for dessert. Breakfast time was dictated by us as we were the only guests and consisted of a selection of meats and cheese, tortilla, tostado with tomato and oil, apricot jam, cake, water, tea and coffee. Again it was all very fresh and tasty. The restaurant has railway themed pictures and artefacts dotted around, it is quite small but perfectly adequate. The host was lovely, polite and friendly and allowed us to check out an hour later than we should have. Another bonus of staying here is being to walk part of the Via Verde which is the converted railway line. This is highly recommended and we would definitely stay again."

"He de decir q el chef y propietario Miquel es una persona q se vuelca con su clientela... amable, atento, empático y siempre alerta a todo lo q pasa en su casa lo sabemos por experiencia ... Nos tuvo q cambiar de salón en cuanto pudo por problemas en la climatizacion y sin nosotros sugerirle nada. La comida muy casera, los arroces muy sabrosos y completos... no sé pq no usa arroz bomba o arroz carnaroli... a ver si me lo explica si quiere jejejejeje... pero sí tenían buen sabor y textura. Las albóndigas con chipirones estaban jugosas y con un puntito a vinagreta muy bueno... y el bacalao a la romana con sanfaina muy rico... algo de aceite pero muy bueno en cocción y fritura. Nos dio a provar unas judías con almejas q la verdad es un plato simple pero con cuerpo y mucho sabor... y si le añade un poco de sepia ya lo culminamos Sin duda cantidad-calidad-precio más q razonable... Comerás bien y a buen precio. Nosotros Volveremos!!"
