wonderful pub with traditional British pub dug. because this pub is next to the woodfordes brewery, I really recommend on brewery tour first. fascinating insights into how the ales are brewed. when you book the tour, you will also get the ales of their choice and get a discount from their meal. fantastic

There is a nice selection of main dishes available, including burgers, pizza, sausage and mash, and a few additional options. We tried the Moving Mountain Burger and the Pilzstroganoff, both of which were enjoyable. However, there were no vegan starters on the menu, and the only dessert option was a sorbet. We had a wonderful family meal here on a late Saturday afternoon. The food was incredible—very flavorful and served in generous portions. The service was delightful; they really engaged with my little toddler. The kids' meals were of high quality, and the children's menu even included crayons. The atmosphere was cozy, which was perfect for a chilly winter day. We will definitely return! The price per person ranges from £20 to £30, which is quite reasonable considering the quality of the food. I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5 – it was delicious! The service was also commendable, earning a solid 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, also rated 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Roast Beef Lunch; it was absolutely fantastic!

Visited in the 9th October for lunch. I 'm saddened to say that the meal 's that my wife and I had were simply not up to par! The homemade burger was worse than you would get from a kebab shop on a drunken night out. It really was poor. It 's not hard to get a burger right these days. The steak and ale pie, was not only volcanic, but once through the pastry lid, it was a watery mess, really unpleasant. The service behind the bar was something to be desired too, wasn 't professional, wasn 't homely or welcoming. Being a former local I would visit here quite often with family and friends and could never fault the food or the service and would always recommend to others. Sadly this is no longer... Voir le carte
