Wing's Oriental Takeaway

Just ordered ribs and fried rice. Almost inedible. Ribs so overcooked it was like eating straw. Rice dry hard and tasteless. They should not be allowed to practice. Still so hungry but could not get through this terrible dish.

Don't often have takeaway food but Wings is excellent. Unfortunately they don't deliver but don't let that put you off. It's worth making the effort to go get it yourself. Lovely service and superb food. THAT'S ALL SHE WROTE...

Wings is by far the best takeaway restaurant I have ever used anywhere. We regularly have takeaways from here. The portions are huge and the food is delicious always. I especially like the king prawn Thai green curry, so many huge prawns and the sauce is gorgeous.

The takeaway food at this restaurant is excellent. We called in our order and it was ready on time. The portions were generous and we were able to enjoy leftovers the next day. The food was delicious. They also offer a delivery service, which appeared to be popular judging by the constant ringing of the phone.

Out of the three main Chinese takeout options in Uppingham, my go-to is usually Wings. I particularly like their king prawn chilli and salt, plain noodles, and the chips are also quite tasty. While it may not be the best Chinese food I've ever had, it's a solid choice for satisfying, fast meals. The staff is also very friendly. Voir le carte

Excellent food, very fresh and delicious, very generous portions, friendly and helpful staff, only downside was despite phoning through order still had to wait 30 mins when I went to collect. Hopefully that was a one off, we were given a complimentary drink by way of an apology though. We will definitely be going back and do highly recommend it, very good value for money too,

After coming out of retirement just to write this review, I decided to try a new restaurant for a change and I regret it. The sweet and sour chicken balls were overly greasy with a thick, rock-hard batter. The beef in mushroom dish had chewy meat of uncertain quality. The sweet and sour pork was also tough, and the curry sauce was too thin. Even the prawn crackers were too hard. The salt pepper prawns were dry, tasteless, and coated in thick batter. The only good thing on the menu was the mushrooms.

The only positive was that the food was done quickly. I went just after they opened on a Friday night, so not busy at all... The easiest 'Chinese ' dish must be sweet and sour chicken balls, which they couldn 't even get right. In a world where prices are rising daily, I just thought they 'd show a bit more respect to local customers. The chicken balls look like they have been left in the fryer 20 mins longer than recommended, when it 's not even busy, how can this lack of concentration be justified? Or do they just not care?? Crispy Chili beef was also over done and barley edible. Even the prawn crackers tasted like they 'd been left out, open all day. By far the worst take-away in Rutland.... Voir le carte
