Willi's Coffee House

Excellent service and amazing food. The soup was so good I ordered a second bowl. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Visited Willi's earlier this week for a quick cuppa and a slice of cake. Nice place but thought small cakes at £3.50 very expensive. Had a look at Wine list also and saw a bottle of Argentine Trivento at £20..you can buy in Morrisons for £8..rampant profiteering..

After paying £3.95 for a takeaway sausage sarnie I expected artisan bread and quality sausages, instead I got a small white bun with two low quality sausages. I felt robbed! How they can justify charging 4 quid for this is beyond belief! Needless to say I will not be returning.

The restaurant was very crowded and appeared to be a bit disorganized. We ordered two sourdough toasties - one came with a large portion of fries that were just thrown next to the toastie, giving it a basic appearance. The other toastie was a caprese one, which did come with salad and coleslaw.

Driven to write this review the first I’ve ever made after my experience. Lots of staff milling around. No one welcome me, or even greeted me. I felt uncomfortable. Food took a long time and then mh order was wrong. I recall feeling the same sense of discomfort at my last visit . Is it that hard to simply say hello. Needless to say I will not be returning

The restaurant was unwelcoming. Despite it not being busy, I had to wait at the door before being acknowledged. My friend's order was missing an item and my pancakes were dry, lacking maple syrup, tasted odd, and were burnt. After complaining, the server's response was just a nonchalant "hmm". We paid £9.50 but received no refund or apology. The food was so bad that I could only manage one bite before giving up. I typically avoid complaining, especially to small businesses, but in this case, the quality of the food did not match the high prices they were charging.

The restaurant appeared stylish from the outside, suggesting attention to detail, but upon entering, chaos ensued. The man at the till was chewing on cake, claiming he didn't have time for lunch. We were given two knives with our cake but had to request a fork, only to be given one for two people. The take-away cake was carelessly placed in a bag, lacking respect, and tossed around like meat at a butcher shop. The decaf coffee was more like hot milk. Despite these shortcomings, the latte cake and brownie were delicious. The £5 milkshake was not very chocolaty, but my daughter still enjoyed it. Overall, I was disappointed and do not plan on returning to spend my money here in the future.

Been here a few times and generally, a good experience with all staff, food and drinks, absolutely acceptable. No complaints. However today, we shared our breakfast experience with dogs? I’m not a dog lover I admit but I don’t hate them either! I often walk and “tend” all the necessary requirements of walking my daughters dog! I just found the three dogs that were brought into, what is quite a small cafe area, a bit too much. Surely with that amount of food being ordered and provided, you should be able to enjoy a meal without dogs moving about and sniffing around all the tables. One even being “fed” scraps at a table? This is the second time we have visited, and it will be our last. On the first occasion what we wanted to order was not available and this happened again on our second visit. Both visits were mid morning so it was disappointing that the food we wanted to order was already unavailable by that time. We ordered the blueberry pancakes, and the bacon and maple syrup pancakes in the end which were both burnt and flavourless. The bacon pancakes were dry and had no maple syrup. The food prices are set to that of a Michelin star restaurant however, delivered by the standard of a 4 year old chef.
