"My wife and I enjoyed our Sunday lunch yesterday. We had returned after having decided some months ago that standards had slipped too far regarding the food offerings, but found things were vastly improved this time. I’m guessing there have been positive staff changes in critical areas since our last visit. The quality of the beef and lamb dinners was very good, albeit not the largest servings (not having paid for additional sides). I’d probably have had coffee after the meal, but the waitress cleared the plates and was gone without asking Overall, a very pleasant and encouraging experience."

The Sunday dinner needs refining, or maybe because we had it just before kitchen was closing we got dry left overs. Even the little dish with horseradish had skin on it. I had a lovely dinner at The White Horse, our waitress was Kirsty and she was very friendly, lovely atmosphere in this pub. We both had the chicken burger and a side of Mac and cheese to share.
