Booked a table for 6 for last Friday evening, really fantastic place to eat. Quality food, very well cooked, welcoming hosts, reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

A truly family owned restaurant with very personal service. When we visited it was very quiet and we were served by the owners who told us much about the history of the place really fascinating. Food was excellent quality, lovely decor what more do you want?

Unfortunately, we received the disappointing news that the new owners will be closing the B and B in August for an indefinite period. Despite this, we enjoyed a great time, with a warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Wishing Gerry and Roger good luck in their future endeavors.

We walked through the fields of sheep to the converted barn restaurant insure about what to expect. We found a quirky, welcoming and comfortable restaurant with great service and a loverly atmosphere. The food was suberb, a small range of traditional meat, fish and vegetation dishes reasonably priced and delicious. I'd highly recommended it.

After making a reservation in advance, we had a lovely stroll to White Haywood Restaurant. They had a wonderful selection of homemade dishes, with many featuring their own or locally sourced meat. We had a delicious three-course meal, especially enjoying the beef pie. They also welcomed dogs, which was a plus for us and our Labrador. Thank you to Pauline for making us feel so welcome.

had another visit to White Haywood last week during the Hay Festival week, going with my wife and two friends. It is consistently very good with a warm welcome and super food their own rump steak from Hereford cattle reared on the farm was very tender and tasty and cooked nicely. Homemade blackcurrant pie and ice cream was just too tempting to resist. The beer and wine is also very good and reasonably priced.

We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from the guest book at the cottage we were staying in. We made a reservation in advance as suggested. It was an excellent meal and the farmer and his wife were very friendly and really enhanced the evening. Pauline cooks the food and my husband said it was the best steak he had tasted in years. We couldn't find any faults and left with smiles on our faces. If you have the opportunity, definitely give it a try.

We have visited White Hayward farm restaurant on several occasions for Sunday lunch, but visited it for Saturday lunch for the first time last weekend. We chose the homemade steak pie for our first course which was delicious with mash potatoes, broccoli and carrots all cooked to perfection. We then tried the Raspberry and Nougat Semi freddo, which was delicious. Pauline's meals never disappoint you, and we look forward to another visit with other visitors in the New Year.

Having booked for dinner we had a walk through the fields surrounding the farm beforehand although the public footpath signs were virtually indecipherable. When we returned to the farmhouse we were accosted by the farmer husband of the lady who runs the restaurant/b&b who claimed that we had left a gate open. We are seasoned walkers and are very scrupulous about such things. When we told him that we were having dinner there he mellowed somewhat but our feathers were ruffled slightly. However the restaurant in a high ceilinged barn was very attractively furnished and the meal was very good and well priced. They deserve credit for the commendable effort put into the business.
