"After a much-needed getaway, we celebrated our newfound freedom with a meal at a delightful restaurant called Le Seasoning Dealer. The ambiance was beautifully decorated and the seating was quite comfortable. The service was attentive, polite, and efficient. The food tasted even better than I remembered! With so many five-star reviews, it’s clear that this place deserves them. If you’re in the area and craving Indian cuisine, this is definitely the spot to visit, especially if you’re feeling undecided or have previously dined at lesser venues. I highly recommend it!"

"I had recently moved to Finedon and we went for a family meal on a Sunday! The roast dinners are amazing!! The food was really lovely including the starters we had, I went for pate and it was great and perfect amount. We all had a large roast and honestly after couldn’t eat another thing, this was a little sad as I saw the dessert menu and going by the rest of the food I have high hopes!! We can’t wait to go back and try something different, including the desserts!!"

"I have been searching for a venue to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday next year. He is of Jamaican descent, and we found June Plum and decided to take him there for a meal this year. Upon our arrival at 5:15pm, my daughter gave a cake to a staff member to hide in the kitchen as a surprise for my husband. We requested to place our food order at 5:25pm, but even after our drinks order had been taken and served, our food order was not taken. After a second request, we finally placed our food order. By 6:15pm, we still had not received our food and when we inquired about the delay, we were given a story about the table before us still not being served. At this time, there were only them and us in the restaurant. We were told maybe another 15 minutes for our food, but by 6:30pm, we were still waiting. The front of house manager apologized and could not give us a definite time for our food, mentioning that the table before us would take another 10-15 minutes. After two hours of waiting, we were still not able to eat. The staff mentioned attending a cricket match the day before, but we were unsure how that was relevant to our wait. When we finally asked for the bill and received it along with the surprise birthday cake for my husband, which was supposed to be a surprise, we were disappointed. Although the front of house manager apologized and offered us the drinks on the house, we have decided not to return to June Plum and will not be booking it for my husband's 60th birthday meal. While we appreciate supporting small businesses, we cannot tolerate such long waits for service."

"We stopped on the way to Huntingdon, for a light lunch. Lovely pub/restaurant. We were just after usual finishing time for lunch but one of the staff said she should be able to get the chef to feed us! We chose turkey stuffing, and halloumi onion chutney, both open on sourbread. Plus chips! They came beautifully presented with pea shoots and leaves, and the turkey had delicious dripping gravy to pour over. Both were superb and although open were easy to eat as the bread was crispy and soft perfect! But, in addition, the chips were delicious! Home made and probably 2 or 3 times fried. Without doubt as good as the best pub sandwiches we 've ever had! The service was great, always with a smile. If the main menu is as good, it would be well worth trying! Highly recommended."
