"Unfortunately my expectation were a little higher after reading the reviews.We choose the 4 course dinner.The fried brie came almost burnt black and the beetroot salad was tasteless, garnished with some sad letters. The tomato soup was ok. The poached salmon was dry, with a little sweet and sour sauce,very week in taste and brown overcooked sweet peas. The lemon meringue roulade missed the meringue. The coffee you are supposed to take in the lounge was cold. The waiters were very attentive and polite, but none of them carried a smile."

We were staying in the hotel on a B&B basis and really enjoyed the breakfasts. Plenty of choice available from porridge and cereals to cooked breakfasts and home made preserves! Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a typical three star hotel restaurant. The have a limited menu which was not inspiring. The main part of the dishes were OK but the chef needs to learn how to make a sauce (a properly reduced sauce is better than a thin liquid)

Love this restaurant great meal the steak is fab. The staff are lovely as they always are in The Empire Hotel you need to book so as not to be disappointed. Fab price if you don't mind the set menu or a la cart if you can afford to push the boat out.

High class service. All staff help eachother no job too small and a very friendly whilst very professional. Beautiful setting with out of this world food cooked with love and the presentation is 10/10. Had a fantastic night, I will be returning each time I visit Llandudno. Highly recommend also!! You will not be disappointed.

We dined here on the first evening of our holiday and wish we hadn't tried any of the other restaurants or pubs as none of them matched The Empire. Service as always was exceptional and the food was well-thought out, varied and of a high standard. The Empire should be you first option if looking for somewhere to eat in Llandudno!
