"Went to the Waggon to have a meal with friends, but only a small group.Easy free parking, plenty of room round the back for loads of cars.Reception was ok but we did get an employee who was on his second day so wasn't perfect but understandable.Sat in the restaurant area, the table did have some dirt on it, like loose mud or something which I had to wipe off with a napkin.When seated was asked for drinks order quite promptly but then they forgot to bring them out until after we had already started our starters.The starters were a very large portion, a bit too much really.I had the vegetable samosas which were a bit underdone. Came out slightly pale and flourery. The filling was more of potato fluff than the usual medley of spicy veg so a bit disappointing.Had the veg biriyani for main which was huge. Very tasty, packed with veg and plenty of spice.Service was ok but they did keep flitting from table to table mid-way through serving our table. They would sort of be half way through setting out our cutlery then wander off and do the drinks order for another table.Overall it was good food, a nice environment and priced right.With the bar just next door, it would make a perfect place for groups of all sizes to meet socially and enjoy curry and a pint."

Always a huge amount of fun had when we have a night out at the wagon... manager is amazing, goes above and beyond to be helpful. All the staff atentative and nothing is too much of a problem.The food is also amazing.

From the moment you walk through the door you are made welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are friendly and keen to put you at ease and ensure you have a super night. We were led through to a beautiful dining room, a stunning barn conversion where fairy lights twinkle magically against duck egg blue and stone walls, with high wooden beams. We started with spicy popadoms which were loaded with fresh tomatoes and sweet onions. A tray of sauces kept us entertained as we took advice on the menu from knowledgeable and helpful staff.
