The extensive gluten-free menu offered a delightful selection of hot cheese starters, and the steak and ale pie was delicious—perfectly cooked alongside well-prepared vegetables. It was just what we needed for a chilly winter evening. The lovely ice cream served in a charming sunflower bowl was a perfect finishing touch. Dining in a combination of a cookhouse and brewery is always a treat!"

We came here on our wedding anniversary for a lovely meal. We had the rib-eye steak, mixed grilled fish and a children's meal of fish and chips. All were cooked to perfection.

We had an outstanding meal on December 19, 2016. The staff was beautiful and friendly, and the food was fabulous and well presented. My little grandson especially loved the chocolate flower pudding. Thank you for a lovely dining experience! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I made a booking for a christmas night out (which was amended a few times in the day but they were more than happy to accommodate us). The night was fantastic and so were the staff. The food was amazing and the drinks were great too. 4 ordered off the xmas menu and they absolutely loved it. The six of us had a brilliant time, we even got a picture on the page! It's a fantastic pub, made better by the staff. If any of the staff that were working on 15/12/2015 are reading this, thank you very much.
