Food superb. Plenty of food served. Very tasty. Staff attentive. Only criticism was the soft drinks being flat. Can’t wait to go back. When you are in a restaurant that is full mid week and people waiting for a table you know the food is good!

I went for dinner with my wife, Village Indiya was nothing short of impeccable. The staff members were attentive and friendly. The waiters were knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations and accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the Lamb Jalfrezi and King Prawn Puree.

Have been visiting since early last year, is always busy, buzzing atmosphere and impressive. Staff are always very busy and the food is consistently a great standard across the whole menu. Best Indian for quality and service in the area. Always well looked after here despite being so full, appreciate the hard working nature of the staff who give this place its charm and buzz.

Service is 10/10, the staff are very quick to help with anything you need. As for the food, if I could give it an 11/10, I would. My recommendation is the chicken karma sutra, however, the venison korai was beautiful, almost wish I ordered that upon having a piece. Cobras on tap, you can’t really complain. Very happy customer, and although this is my second time here, I’d certainly think making the trip from Southend is worth every penny.

Great food as always, but… we came for a meal to celebrate a family birthday as we have done dozens of times over the years. This restaurant is a family favourite the food is absolutely amazing. However, last night at the point of paying the bill was split equally between 3 family members with each total being rounded up to a nice even number to add on the tip. The first 2 members paid exactly the same amount, but when it came to the 3rd member of the group who was sitting furthest away from the waiter taking the card payments, instead of charging the the same as he had done twice already, he added an extra £10 then held the terminal price towards himself so the last member had to just reach...
