"Victoria was very busy, but the service was great and very fast. The staff was friendly and on the ball. There were some vegetarian options that could be easily changed to make them vegan. No specific vegan menu, but with the online lactose-free menu I was usually able to work for myself with some consultations. At the beginning I chose the vegetarian Haggis candies that had a nice taste, but were very dry and quite hard. Then for the main I chose the Mediterranean herbal fajitas that are vegan without the acid cream. Your arrival attracted a lot of attention when the plate was annoyingly blinded! The part was huge and I fought for it. The veg was smokey and tasty and the guacamole and salsa made it very good. Would highly recommend the Fajitas. Other vegan options on the dinner menu include a chickpea and lentils Dahl, salads, pasta and pizza, where milk cheese can be extracted for vegan cheese. I found that Victoria has the most vegan options in the local area."

Chick Pea Green Lentil Dahl: £16.50 : this was covered with crispy nuts and vegan naan bread (which I was insured). That was creamy, but a little spicy.

I had the vegetarian Scottish breakfast without the egg so it was vegan. The staff was really nice and they offered to mix something from the other dishes if I wanted to eat something else.

Had a few options that were decent. We ordered a vegetarian pasta which arrived with chicken in it- must have been a mistake in the kitchen. But the staff were very attentive and dealt with the issue promptly. It wasn’t nice to receive the chicken but in the end it was all sorted and fine.

Just one menu but server helpfully pointed out options to make things vegan. Was offered 2 pizzas, vegan fajitas, a chickpea Dahl and a pasta. I had the Dahl and it was very good. You don't have a vegan menu anymore - so we asked what vegan was from their current menu (clear, we were vegan) and we were proposing some options. We ordered them all and unfortunately after we started eating, we realized that there was butter (non-vegan) on the vegetables. Must have asked not for what was not vegan and a lady there was very friendly and apologised for the mistake and removed the dishes from the bill. Unfortunately, another employee mentioned we should have said that we had lactose intolerance to avoid butter in food... Updated from the previous review on 2023-04-10
