"The VarieTee (formerly known as 'First Flush') is conveniently located at the Marktplatz, close to the old town hall and offers very nice views if you sit outside. I've been here several times, sometimes for coffee or tea and cake, sometimes for lunch or dinner. Always the beverages and the food are of high quality and the dishes are nicely executed. No sloppy plates leave the kitchen, your meal is always as pleasing for the eye as it is pleasing for your stomach. During this visit, the four of us had two salads, which were fresh and the dressing was very well seasoned, one piece of quiche with asparagus and the falafel plate. All found our approval. Along with it we ordered different iced teas. The 'seasonal' oriental flavour was very tasty, as was the classic with mint and lime. The service personnel is very accommodating as well, sometimes it just takes a while till the order reaches the table, but with the place mostly crowded, you have to give them some credit. It's true that it's not the cheapest place around, calculate about 20 EUR per person for lunch incl. the drink, but it's worth it and they've maintained their standard for a couple of years now. And since we all want to be paid adequately for good service, I'll gladly do it here as well."

Der Inhaberwechsel hat dem Teehaus gut getan: Der Service ist viel freundlicher und aufmerksamer, während die besondere Atmosphäre und die Breite des Teesortiments geblieben sind. Ich bin hier immer wieder und gern zu Gast.

In schöner Armosphäre leckeren Tee in schönen, immer unterschiedlichen Tässchen und Kännchen genießen. Der Tee ist etwas teurer als üblich und es wäre schön, wenn man sich die Teekannen teilen könnte.P.S. Das Badezimmer ist auch ganz wunderbar

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Varietee. Das Essen war lecker und raffiniert, der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Ganz besonders sticht die gemütliche Atmopshere heraus. Wir waren äußerst zufrieden und würden das Varietee uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Hier koffie en thee gedronken met een stukje gebak. Kopje koffie had weinig koffie door de vorm van het kopje maar moest wel € 3.50 kosten. Het stuk taart was zo smal (ca 2 cm) dat het niet kon blijven staan. Moest wel € 4.40 voor worden neergelegd. Nee, niets voor ons.

Not the cheapest place in town but possibly one of the cutest one. All the details harmonize perfectly in this wonderful and super central location. The tea specialties compete with very good international food also presented in an impeccable way. Perfect for a date if you want to impress you seweetie..

Das Vari Tee ist ein Kleinod am historischen Bonner Rathaus, zwischen dem Bistro Miebach und den eher groben Speisen des rheinischen Höttche. Nicht nur die vielen Teesorten und Kuchenvariationen überzeugen, auch die kleine, aber sehr feine Speisekarte mit Köstlichkeiten, wie Quiche Mediterran (mit üppigem Salat), oder die verschiedenen Dips oder die 3 Delikatessen im Glas (mit u.a Bulgur und Caprese); die Holunderblüten-Schorle ist sehr erfrischend. Alles nicht ganz billig, aber von hoher Qualität und mit zuvorkommendem Service ...

Wer Entspannung braucht und sich dabei etwas gönnen will, ist hier genau richtig. Viele Teesorten und im Sommer draussen phantastische Eistees garantieren mit dem Kuchenangebot oder der orientalusch angehauchten Küche, dass man gerne wieder kommt. Ich esse hier immer wieder gerne das Falafel, die Lammfrikadellen oder die Salate, die es jetzt auch wieder mit Fisch gibt. Qualität und Geschmack hat hier auch seinen Preis, aber dafür wird man eben mit Geschmackserlebnissen, einem tollen Ambiente , einer Top Lage und einem aufmersamen, höflichen Service verwöhnt.

Die Preise sind sicherlich gehoben, keine Frage. Auch die Professionalität des Service hängt bisweilen davon ab, welche Bedienung man erwischt. Dafür bietet das Teehaus aber eine unvergleichliche Atmosphäre in einmaligem Dekor. Hier kann man auch als Alleinreisender für ein paar Stündchen gemütlich verweilen, Zeitung lesen und Tee oder Kaffee genießen. Auch essen kann man hier sehr gut. Zwar bietet die Karte nur eine kleine Auswahl, aber die angebotenen Gerichte sind dafür durch die Bank gut. Manchmal muss man vielleicht etwas Zeit mitbringen, gerade das Essen kommt nicht immer sofort - aber wenn man "mal schnell" etwas essen möchte, ist man hier sowieso falsch. Zeit (oder Geduld) mitbringen...

"It's Monday, and my wife and I have a reason to celebrate. But where on Monday night? „Monday Ruhetag“ we read on numerous restaurant pages on the Internet – also in the further Hennefer district. But who seeks to find – and indeed the Bonneria, a Spanish restaurant in Bonn-Beuel, within a range of just 20 kilometres. Vamos! The Bonneria is located in a residential and business district in the heart of Bonn-Beuel. Parking search can be problematic here, the parking spaces in the surrounding streets are usually occupied. A parking space which can be used from 18.00 h in the courtyard of the residential and commercial building, on the ground floor of which the restaurant is located, is small and also quickly occupied. We're lucky and find a narrow car park for our companion. It is warm on this 6th of September, and we have already telephonicly explored whether we have a chance at the 18.00 h on a table on the restaurant's garden terrace, which is next to the parking lot in the yard. The Bonneria does not accept a reservation for the terrace. Our chance of a table at this time is taxed by a service employee to 95 percent on the phone. We can choose a table on the spacious terrace, a handful of tables is occupied. My Dorade wants to swim, so I order a • line Aquavit (2,90 € . Esperando el pastel, and the time passes, the service forces drag court around court from the kitchen, the terrace is now well occupied. It takes a whole while not adapted for cakes and digestif until the sweet temptation and the perseverance are on our table. Pastel de chocolate But waiting was worth it. The chocolate cake tops the expectations of my loved ones: warm, fluffy, with delicate melted core, complemented by the ice cream with thick walnut pieces and the not so sweet cream. Perfecto! Aquavit Contrary to the often usual type of serving in the iced glass, the Aquavit is cooled under room temperature, but not served in the deeply tempered Aquavit glass. So my Dorade gets more of the aroma. We let our young jovial man know that dessert was very, yes very tasty. In general: With the performance of the kitchen we are more than satisfied, four stars. The cleanliness tables, cutlery and dishes are clean and the terrace is well maintained. We weren't in the guest room and not in the toilets. We also do not know whether the menage – wooden pepper and salt mill – which we have requested in retrospect, has been treated according to the current hygiene rules. Therefore, the assessment of cleanliness remains open. The price-performance ratio service and kitchen performance are quite okay except for small items.
