"This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is warm and friendly, always working hard and smiling. The food was some of the best I've had in a long time. The bed in the Elm room feels like sleeping on a marshmallow. We will definitely be coming back. The room was absolutely flawless and tastefully decorated. The facilities were excellent, with fresh milk in the refrigerator instead of those awful bags you often find elsewhere. Thank you for a fantastic few days!"

Great local pub with a fantastic garden and delicious food!! Highly recommend. We've been more than a few times recently with friends for drinks and lunch.

Lovely food. Nice outdoor space too. Limited kids menu choices though, with no flexibility to modify adult portions to suit. Staff were ok, but not overly friendly

Been here lots before but got to say our meals last night were exceptional and the new waiter was great . The stilton and chicken I highly recommend. See you all again soon thanks

Camping near by and the Two Sawers was recommended to us. We came in one night just for a drink. It was so friendly we booked a meal for the next night. Lovely food. Good service. A real treat. Voir le carte

Amazing little pub Dog friendly. They open at 12 there was already a queue we can now see why. The staff were really friendly the food was fresh really tasty. Will definitely return try a roast as that sounds amazing! Great little pub

The food was nice and there's a good variety of both vegan and vegetarian dishes. The service was good and the servers were friendly. Downstairs the ceiling is low so be prepared to duck if you're over 5"5! But the decor is good so it's worth it!

The food was enormous! The Sunday roast was amazing. Great country pub, that allows your dogs to come in. Good wine, great staff. Ellie was a delight and helped me choose what Sunday roast l should go for. Good wine. Great pub! My friend had beef l had pork. Voir le carte

Nice pub, good service, check out the specials board before you order food. Lovely local beer in very old building (watch your head! . It seems popular with local and friendly clientele, and the kitchens use locally sourced meat. Lots of parking, and relaxed outdoor seating. Great!

I just returned from a weekend getaway with my partner and decided to book two nights at Sawyer's on a whim. It was a fantastic choice! The pub is charming, with comfortable rooms and delicious pub food. The breakfasts were exceptional, and the atmosphere, location, and staff were all lovely. If I'm ever in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here.
