Twinkle Twinkle-new Diamond

After reading the reviews on here and deliveroo I thought I’d try Nee Diamond. However, although punctual the chef must be heavy handed with the oil, everything was smothered and the chicken was so fatty. I will definitely not be coming back and will revert back to my regular from now on.

Tried this restaurant after our usual Chinese place was closed. Do not recommend wasting your money here. The food was disgusting and horrible. It arrived on time but was just revolting. The dishes were overcooked, the sauces were over-reduced, and everything was greasy. It was a complete waste of money. If I could, I would give it zero stars.

Ordered via Just Eat, delivery was quick, food still hot. Pretty typical Chinese, noodles were good, I had beef in oyster sauce which was tasty, and tempura prawns, I felt the tempura batter was not crispy (may have lost crispness during delivery to be fair) but otherwise OK. Food was plenty for two people and came with complimentary prawn crackers. All in all I was happy and will use them again. Voir le carte

I have always made a habit of avoiding stand alone take away outlets as, historically, I have had some suspect experiences. Last night I tried the New Diamond because my usual take away option was closed for a holiday and we had made up our minds on Chinese!So I transferred my, quite large, order and waited...the food was available on time, was hot when I got it home and was surprisingly good when eaten.If you haven’t tried it, give it a go...We will return...

We normally go to another Chinese in Tunbridge wells for our takeaways but today they were shut so we decided to try New Diamond. Food arrived a full 2 hours later than expected as delivery driver got lost, no attempt to contact us, and when I called to ask what could be done, the individual on the other end of the phone sniggered and asked me to ring back so he could serve other customers. No offer of compensation or offer for us to collect.I have NEVER had such appalling service from a restaurant/takeaway. Will most certainly not use this establishment ever again, and will deter others if asked. Food below average also. Voir le carte

I visited here for a quick dinner to take out, I ordered a starter and main but as this was to take away I expected to be given them together, this wasn't the case. I received the starter and then had to wait 10 minutes for the rest of my food. The price was reasonable and initial service was ok. The quality of the food was as expected, nothing special and certainly not authentic which these takeout spots usually aren't. I will try other places in the area first before considering this one again.

The delivery was more than an hour and a half late. When it finally arrived, the delivery driver attempted to keep my £10 change. Upon inspecting the bag, we discovered that the tub of curry had leaked over the other items due to being crushed. Additionally, some of the food was missing. When we contacted the restaurant to address the issues, they were unapologetic and unwilling to rectify the situation. The food itself was also not very enjoyable. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, the Thai green curry did not taste like a traditional one at all. It lacked the creaminess and delicious flavors you would expect. The quality of the food was also terrible. The chicken was slimy and lacked substance, and the vegetables were overcooked. My boyfriend's chicken in black bean sauce was of similar poor quality and not appetizing either. We were very disappointed and did not finish our meals. I will not be returning to this place and will not waste my time, money, or taste buds on it again. Voir le carte
