Twenty Nine Park Place

Lovely decor, very tasty and different food, friendly staff. Great place to visit with a group of friends. Different from other chain pubd that have been here before.

We had a fantastic meal with a wide range of choices. The service was top-notch and we will definitely be returning. The restaurant also had great social distancing measures in place.

The menu is great and the food is delicious. The ambiance is very cozy and the staff provides excellent service. Despite the restaurant being busy on game day, we were made to feel welcome and not rushed. Voir le carte

Enjoyed a small portion of risotto, colleagues had fish and chips and burger. Was quite envious of the chips they looked really tasty! Portions could have been a little bigger. The waiter did query my request for parmesan to go with risotto! Very quiet.

Not normally one to give a review but the lamb hash was out of this world and definitely a hit on a cold and wet autumn day. Along with the Discovery near Roath Park this is what “gastropubs” should be aiming for. Good food, good beer, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Twenty Nine Park Place is a convenient and easy meeting spot with delicious menus at a reasonable price. This was our second visit and we were not let down. The service was friendly and efficient, allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future. Voir le carte

Booked a table for two as a treat before attending a show at a nearby theatre. I had the three course pre theatre menu,my friend chose of the main menu. The three course I had were not only generous portions but absolutely delicious, my friend was just as delighted with his choice too. Friendly,efficient staff and a cosy atmosphere. I will most definitely return.

Had lunch here with two friends after reading positive reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Service was friendly and efficient with a really relaxed ambience and as we were meeting for a catch up it was good not to feel rushed. The food was excellent and well presented. Would really recommend and good location adjacent to the University and Museum and very close to the city centre.

I was treating my son and friends to lunch and they thought the beef brisket was beautifully tender, and the fish and chips tasty. My daughter and I opted for vegan options to try something different and unfortunately were disappointed. My butternut squash burger was unexciting and the vegetable crumble tasteless and the potatoes were hard. Its a shame because it is a lovely setting and the other meals were lovely. Voir le carte
