"El Túnel d’en Marc Palou is an excellent restaurant located in Eixample neighbourhood, in the center of Barcelona. It is the typical restaurant, where a lot of people, who live in Barcelona, go there. Really, it is an excellent restaurant to do a daily or weekend menu. The rate quality/price is also excellent, at weekend the menu costs 26 euros (including wine and the menu is fantastic. Moreover, it is nicely decorated and it is a place, where you can stay during hours comfortable. We came here with my couple every year in September (we enjoy a lot here! , and this year we come here with our baby and we tasted the following dishes included in the weekend menu: 3 little starters (gazpacho, cured sausages and a sauce , a vichyssoise with poached egg and duck ham (excellent! as first dish and fish of the day with vermouth sauce and baked apple as second dish and chocolate cake as dessert. Also we tasted croquettes and rolls of sobrassada, which were very good. Moreover, we drank a white wine of Penedés called “La Sala”, one of the wines with a best rate quality/price I have tasted! The waiter and the owner were very friendly as usual, and they were very kind with our baby and us. Really they always were very nice! Thank you very much for all! And we hope to return next year!!!"
