"we always like to celebrate occasions in this restaurant where location, good food and courteous service create a perfect mix. we stayed a few weeks ago Friday night and we had the pleasure to dine outdoors in a lakeside table. The dishes are skillfully prepared and presented with goto. excellent gnocchetti with cod and delicate fried shrimp. to finish a really delicious dessert. the view and the very relaxed ball make it perfect for a romantic dinner. absolutely to try, and then come back again"

"we had the pleasure of having lunch on the terrace, with breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and the island of San Giulio. The owners and staff are of a kindness and disarming professionalism, all accompanied by delicious dishes. Value for money excellent and just compared to everything that offers this hotel/restaurant, for a shared appetizer, first, sweets, coffee, wine glasses and a water in two, really honest. If all this is not enough, you can park your car inside the hotel's private and free parking. after lunch we were invited by the staff to leave the car there, without having to pay parking at communal hours, in order to be able to enjoy the visit to the sacred mountain, orta san giulio and island, the distance restaurant-main square is only minute walk. Really super recommended, if there will be occasion in the future, we will definitely come back!"

"So, historical place, very nice and in a good position. As for the restaurant and all very nice and it feels that there are cooks women in the kitchen, tastes and abundance prevail... as for the service of the three girls serving at the tables, a tall and robust and often rude with a little cute way in the catering..if it wasn't for her I would have given a 10..."

"We were staying at the hotel so we knew the location was exceptional, but even so with a mojito in hand, watching the sun set over the mountains really was sublime! The standard of waitressing was less than perfect we had three different people ask us about drinks and then another ask us whether we were ready to order our food before we’d had anything to drink!! Anyway we shared a meat platter which was very tasty, accompanied by just enough cheese and a very tasty...wait for it..strawberry chutney which was fabulous with the meat! I was going to order the perch fish served with butter however when I saw the pizzas I had to change my mind, and I wasn’t disappointed. My husband had turkey served with a rich cream, lemon sauce and liquorice crazy I know but it works! One other criticism why can’t restaurants serve wine cold enough? It’s probably an error of judgement on my part but I really do want white or rose wine to be served cold and not lightly chilled "
