"We were staying at a rental in the neighborhood, and we came across this place while walking in the neighborhood. We'd just arrived in Florence and were hungry, so we went in for dinner. The place was empty. I suspect the reason for this is that the food just isn't that good. The service was great. Our waiter spoke little English, but was very kind. I ordered the gnocchi. The sauce was thin and did not really have any flavor. My daughter had the risotto, which was salty. It had beans in it, and she basically did not like it. (However, we took it home with us. We fried it up the next morning with some cheese and eggs, like fried rice. It was terrific then! I had a glass of the house red wine, which was really good. The prices seemed reasonable. I would not return, though. There are so many better places in Florence."

Il posto è molto semplice,a prima vista non si capisce che ,entrando, potremmo fare un'esperienza culinaria di alto livello. Cibo ottimo, di prima qualità, porzioni abbondanti, servizio impeccabile, presente ma non invadente. Prezzi adeguati.

A home-style trattoria with good, genuine food, a fun, friendly staff and pleasant outdoor seating. Right off of Piazza Beccaria, it has a nice location, too. Been here various times and would be glad to go back. I recommend skipping the appetizers and going straight for the delicious pasta dishes and seconds, you won't regret it!
