"The service was wonderful but the pasta was so fresh and perfectly cooked. This place gets overlooked simply because it has no outdoor seating but we are so glad the owner saw us reading the menu and welcomed us in. Well worth skipping the outdoor seating for the best pasta we have had since arriving in Rome!!! Bravo"

We visited some restaurants during our 4 day stay in Rome and this one was absolutely the Best. We ate 4 different pastas (2 adults 2 kids and all of them tasted home made and delicious. We really wanted to lick the plate : The service was also perfect!!

Trovare posto a due passi da piazza Venezia non e' impossibile qui all'Ara Coeli anche se e' il giorno di Pasquetta. Servizio rapido e cortese, piatti romani; forse la prossima volta prendero'gli gnocchi conditi con il sugo alla vaccinara al posto della gricia

We ate lunch here twice in one week. We particularly enjoyed the gnocchi in pesto sauce and the roasted chicken with rosemary. They were delicious and tasted home-made. I had cream of mushroom soup that wasn’t particularly special. We tried to go for dinner one evening but I don’t they are open in the evening.
