"my wife and I enjoyed both tasty meals here and we were so excited we made reservations for an extra night. (I recommend calling for reservations because they need them, because they are so good and they are gracious sitting with the understanding that the table was later reserved, in the evening I had the crabs and my wife had the renke (fish). we had a great place outside and we went in and it looks really nice in a classic German style. Finally, the salat that came with my meal was also wonderful; fresh and tasty, with a classic light German style dressing. recommend this place. As I said, we are already back. can not wait because the staff is also super friendly."

"Klasse deutsche Gastwirtschaft! Restaurant Oberwirt ist meine Empfehlung für Chieming und Umland. Obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten (dringend empfohlen! wurden wir an einem gemütlichen Tisch platziert. Das Ambiente ist urig, aber absolut passend für die Gegend und die traditionelle deutsche Küche. Von der Vorspeise, über den Hauptgang (Steak und Rindergulasch bis zur Nachspeise (fluffiger Kaiserschmarrn! waren wir einfach begeistert. Die Preise sind leicht gehoben, dafür bekommt man jedoch gute Portionen, leckeres Essen und die Mitarbeiter sind absolut freundlich, herzlich und kümmern sich um ihre Gäste! Außerdem ist hier zahlen mit Karte (Debit, nicht nur die klassische Giro EC absolut selbstverständlich. Wir hatten in der Gegend häufiger Probleme mit 'Cash Only ' oder Bitte nur Giro EC Situationen. Hier im Restaurant gar keine Probleme. Insgesamt einfach empfehlenswert ..."

"War leider ein Reinfall. Wir waren zum Geburtstagsessen dort und obwohl wir das der Bedienung gesagt hatten, hat sie nicht gratuliert.... Naja.... Dann haben wir gute 45 Minuten auf das erste Essen gewartet, die weiteren Speisen folgten ungefähr im 10 Minuten Rhythmus sodass der sein Essen einzeln zu sich nehmen musste. Und die Kinderessen ein hausübliches Schnitzel, kam als letztes. Mein Salatteller mit Hendl als Hauptgericht war eine Mischung aus verschiedenen Fertigsalaten, Kartoffel /Kraut /Bohnensalat haben da nichts verloren. Wir hatten uns sehr auf den Besuch dort gefreut aber wurden leider enttäuscht."

"a great location. my tipp does not eat. I can't understand the other reviews, and I've been evaluating them. a currywurst with self-service for 9,50,-. you try if it fits it is worth it there. from all my eaten curry sausages it lands in the lower quarter. this is not true for the price and performance. there also helps salat and a curry edge not. Too bad that is constantly plified when eating is ready and it is not simply brought out or there is radioinfos. for a sunset drink also recommended for locals."

"Chiemgauhof has a gourmet restaurant, late night beach bar and hotel. The restaurant: The atmosphere is great especially outside in the beer garden. Below the large trees you are invited to enjoy a panoramic view of the Chiemsee with the alpine foothills in the background. While enjoying the fantastic views, you can have a view of the menu. It's pretty big, so you're sure to find something that suits your taste. They serve mainly Bavarian food and especially fish that comes directly from Lake Chiemsee! The food I had during my many visits was always great. But an important thing: it is expensive. Actually, it's quite expensive. Maybe something too expensive, even if you look at the great quality. It is nice to go there, but I would recommend only for a special occasion. You could leave some money there if you spend a long night. I will give the blueberry pancake with vanilla ice cream a special recommendation. They are Chiemgauhof's signature dessert bowl and absolutely phenomenal. The bar: The Sundownder Bar is a beach bar with many couches and some fireplaces. Again, the atmosphere is brilliant when you 're there on a lush summer evening, sitting on fire as you watch it dark on the lake. It's remarkable. The prices of drinks (alcoholic-alcoholic) are not yet exactly cheap, but definitely more reasonable than in the restaurant. In addition to typical bar drinks, they occasionally serve new small brands of special species that are almost always worth a try. Because I live nearby, I didn't have the opportunity to spend some nights in a room of her. What I'm always saying is that the rooms are quite expensive and the service is not really so great... But again, that's what I said. I'll leave the hotel to someone who actually stayed with them."
